Apologies if this question has been asked already.

Found out yesterday after taking 5 HPTs that i am in fact pregnant :)

I am not sure if i believe it yet. Anyway, i tested with the early response and got very faint lines. AF is expected to come today.

Now, out of the blue i am having cramps like AF is coming. Is this normal? I made my appointment today to get a blood test to confirm the pregnancy.

I am just starting to get very excited but dont want to get dissapointed.

I don't have an answer to your question, but I was curious how long it took you to get a positive HPT.  I am 10 days late but no AF and a gazillion neg HPT's.  Just holding out faint hope.

Thanks for letting me know.  Congratulations - it is impossible not to get excited.  Hopefully there won't be any cause for disappointment.  I have two sons and with the second, experienced cramping early in pregnancy.  I was often afraid I was having a miscarriage, but some of the symptoms of early pregnancy are quite similar to AF.  Good luck to you (fingers and toes crossed) and let us know how the blood test turns out.

Cramping is perfectly normal as long as it isn't any worse than AF cramps, and you have no spotting/bleeding.

Congratulations!
