Cut/abrasion inside of clitoris hood

Hi, does anyone know if getting a cut or abrasion inside your clitoral hood can be a sign of herpes? Even if you've never noticed any sores or anything of the sort in your genitals? Every month I usually have irritation/burning/discomfort when i'm about to get my period, but this time noticed this on my clitoris hood. I had some blood tests done, so let's hope they are negative :-(
