I, too, had cysts during my pregnancy. My doc monitored the cysts, but they resolved on their own without any surgery and without any other complications during pregnancy. The only difference between my pregnancy and my other friends without cysts was that I got many ultrasounds. I got to see my daughter 5-6 times during pregnancy! The treatment that they take, or don't, is dependent upon the type of cysts your daughter has. If it is a simple cyst, that has fluid only, it is most likely considered harmless and should not affect her pregnancy. I hope your daughter can relax and enjoy her pregnancy. Cysts can stress you out especially if you have not dealt with them before, but they are often not much to worry about. Make sure she discusses it in detail with her GYN. The GYN should be able to tell if it is a simple cyst or one that is considered "complex" and requires more monitoring and possibly surgery. Hope this helps! Congrats on becoming a grandparent!
