Cystitis

Dear Sir,

     I'm 40 years old and I've 1 children.  I'm getting too much pain in abdomen area in past one year.  I checked ultra sound result is RV, Normal in size 84x39x62. ET=8mm. No SOL. Right POD cyst & fluid. And impression is PID with UTI and cystitis.  May I know is it need to take operation?  Please answer to me.

Dear Sir,

       Thank you very much for your answer to me.  Now I take Norfloxacin USP 400 mg and Ornidazole Tab 500 mg - bds.

PID is pelvic inflammatory disease.  UTI is urinary tract infection.  Cystitis is inflammation of the bladder.  

No surgery is needed for this, but not treating infection leads to pelvic inflammatory disease, and pelvic inflammatory disease causes scarring and infertility.  You just need antibiotics, but you should have had them a long time ago.
