Dark Brown Period??

Hi, I have had unprotected sex with my partner for months and we do plan to have a baby. But this month i have been 9 days late when im on time every month. My period is never more than 4 days but im on my second day and all i have had is a very small amount of brown blood i put it down to old blood but when i change tampex its the same but less?? i have never had this before. Every other period i have had i get sore brests and cramps but i dont have any of these. Only my nipples are a little tender. Could i be pregnant?

It's aways a possibility with unprotected sex.
I am experiencing the same dark brown discharge this month also.
My period was a week late.
Let's hope it is a sign....for both of us!
If not...it may just be some old stored blood from last month...???...maybe.

would the discharge be a little bit i think of discharge as like a tiny amount but this is a little bit more?
how long has urs lasted for?

i did have my period on the 4th of feb and that was only for 4 days? so what do u think?

I am in a similiar situation.  About 3 wks ago, I was expecting my period but instead I got brown spotting left on my pads.  It went on for about 5 days.  I never saw any real red blood flow but yet the brown spottings for one day would leave enough to dampen the pad but not a lot like a period.

We have been trying for the past three years.  I have taken 2 urine tests since and all came back negative.  Then again, first one was taken late in the day and second also late afternoon.  So I'm not sure if it's the timing that may not be picking up the hormone.

I don't have a regular family doctor yet b/c we're new in Sydney and I don't know where to go.  So for now, I'm waiting until my next period due date to see what happens.

Today is the second day for me.
It is alot of blood...but i'm not sure what it is.
Take a test ....it won't hurt...But if it is negative..doesn't mean you're not.
If you get a negative test you can always get blood work..that's really the only way of telling for sure ...if you want answers now.

3rd day and now i dont ahve any brown discharge at all? this is confusing does anyone know whats gong on? haha welsh woman..

I have had that same spotting in a healthy pregnancy 2 times out of 4 pregnancies.  HAVE YOU NOT TAKEN A TEST?

I went to see the doctor today.  Took a blood test and got result ASAP.  It came back negative.  So this must have been some weird period, no red flow, just brown spotting.

Does anyone experience the same thing without resulting in pregnancy?

i had unprotected sex about 3 months ago... n for the last 3 months after that on the same week that i start my period for the same ammount of days all i get is really chunky brown blood.. i dunno wat to do n im worried.. HELP?

im a virgin and the mayority of the monts my period is dark brown. Ive never chekd cuz i thought it was normal, but i got curious and searched and now i dont know wat to think! Someone help me! I dont want to ask my mom cuz i dont want her to think im having sex with my boyfriend.

I am currently experienceing the brown to black period. It started today and has beent he first time it's ever happened. I haven't been sexually involved for 2 1/2 years. I am not on birth control either. I just had a negetive PAP Smear and I'm perfectly healthy. I called my OB;/GYN and he informed me that sometimes women bleed old blood from previous periods. It's perfectly normal and should go away soon.
