Depo provera question

So I am in a new relationship and prior to being with my boyfriend, I wasn't sexually active for a while so there was no need for me to be on any form of birth control. Right after we started getting serious though I made the appointment with my doctor to start depo provera injections which I had taken in the past for about a year and a half. They said it would take about 7 days for it to become completely effective but we had unprotected sex on the third day. I took Plan B the same afternoon just to be safe but currently my period is five days late. I took a pregnancy test today which came out negative which was very reassuring. Last time I was on depo, my periods did stop as well but it wasn't until the second time I got the injection. Still makes me nervous. Please share your opinions with me and any advice you may have!!!

Those are a lot of changes to your body at once. Your period is affected by almost everything. Try and stay calm, so your nerves don't make it take longer to start.

I think it's just your body reacting to depo. You took plan b so you should be ok
