Depo shot

I'v been on the Depo shot for 1 year. But I have gained 35 pounds on it I would like to start takeing the B-12 shot but I don't know if it is save to. Can any one help me wit this. Amber

I'm not sure if taking the b12 shot is safe...I would be more worried about the depo.
I was on it for nearly 8 years....and yes while on it I had no side effects....until I got off of it.
It was really convenient not having a period to deal with...and fortunately unlike you...
I suffered no side effects no weight gain...well maybe 5 pounds over the course of 8 years.
I really think that you should do some research on the drug....
I know that I have not been myself since I have been off of it...not to mention it can really
screw with your cycle.
There is a lady who has gathered testimonials from women over the course of 10 years
all of which were on depo...and all the horror stories they have experienced.
It will seriously make you think twice....she has even written a book on it.
I'm not sure what to look under..but google it.
