Different cycle lengths

Hi, I am a 22 year old female and I've been tracking my cycles each month for two years. My period never comes on the same day. The last three months they were 30,31,and 30. This month it was only 28 days long. In the past it has been 24 days, 36 days... You can't really predict what day it will come. I don't get horrible cramps and I don't really have excess hair growth or anything like that so I don't think it's PCOS but I do have problems with acne. I'm not sure if it's related. I would like to know if this is normal or if something is wrong. Thanks.

I went to my obgyn and she is having me do a fasting blood test. She mentioned it could be a hormone inbalance. I am experiencing irregular periods also with other symptoms. But check out this website and see if it helps!

And make an appointment with an obgyn. They can help alot.

I am 40, and since starting my period at age 15, my cycles have always been irregular, anything between 27 and 45 days! In recent years they have become more normal (i.e. shorter) and more predictable. But only last month my cycle was over 35 days (38) for the first time in more than a year, so my period still has the odd quirk. Now it averages at 32 days, so one month it may be 30 and the next, 35.

I think it is normal. Some women are just like that. The length of your cycles still is in the norm. And the irregularity isn't something to worry about, in my experience. Even a missed period or two periods close together doesn't necessarily means something is wrong (unless it keeps on happening).

I hope this helps :)

I as well have experienced very long cycles. not as long as you, some will be either 2 weeks or 3 weeks. And I as well never start on the same day. I have been on birth control for quite some time and every once in a while ill feel like a normal person with a 7 day period. Have you thought about going on a birth control to help? As for the normal part I am not sure. I have a gynecology appointment next week for this issue actually. If I find anything out I will let you know.
