I am 40 years old and look about 7-8 months pregnant. I have had every test you can imagine and now my doctor just thinks I am crazy. My weight started at about 148 and now it is at 174, that is in a 2 month time span. I am exhausted and stressed out. I exercise 3-4 times a week, stay active with 3 kids and a job. Plus I have taken my calories to around 1700 a day. Nothing is working. I have went from a size 7 to a size 14. I feel like my body is out of control. My OB/GYN told me that is was just because I was getting older and my metabolism is slowing down. I think she is wrong. There is something wrong. I do not hurt or feel bad in any way at all. I am so uncomfortable in my own skin. Now I am scheduled to see an endocrinologist in a month.
Has anyone else found anything that this might be???
