Do I have UTI or is it hormonal change?

2 nights ago, I had sex with my boyfriend after a month of no sex. I started taking birth control last week and my period was few days longer than usual and just ended 2 days ago. Today, I woke up having to pee and my vagina was feeling irrating like burning pain? I've had UTI 2 times few months ago but I'm not sure if it's uti or something to do with hormones??

Hi.  UTI's feel different than what you are describing.  Since you have had one, you probably know this.  But it feels like a burning inside of you down there as the stream comes to a stop.  You often usually have a frequent urge to go and the feeling you can't get it all out.  What is probably happening instead is a little abrasion.  A little cut or something.  And when you pee, it hits that and stings.  Does that sound more like what you are talking about?
