Do i have some kind of an infection?

hi i'm 20 years old and iv been sexually active for about 6 months.. recently iv been having a tingling feeling inside my vagina and since then iv stopped all sexual activities. it all started when i woke up at 6am and had to rush to the bathroom to urinate and since then whenever i need to urinate i feel that im not able to control my bladder..(have to rush to urinate). Besides this whenever i pee it had a bad odour more like something rotten). i took a pregnancy test and it turned out to be negative. im not on any pill and just use condoms. the tingling feeling begins in the mornings and fade away during the rest of the day. However before i sleep they start again. its been a week now and i wasnt able to go to a doctor. The tingling feeling had gradually decreased. I just wanted to know if these symptoms are of any kind of infection.

Thanks

Hi...

It sounds like you may have a urinary tract infection or a baterial infection.  Urinary Tract Infections are serious because if they are not treated, they can become worse and affect your kidneys so I definitely reccommend you see a doctor.  They will take a urine sample and determine if you have one or not.  This is cleared up with some antibiotics.  Your symptoms are similar to that of a urinary tract infection so definitely check it out.  Other than that, if this is not the case, maybe you have a yeast infection which should also be treated by a doc.  Good luck.
