Does FlexProtex Work? Will it work for Me?

I am trying to find out if  FlexProtex works. I went to ConsumerHealthDigest and it was not rated in the top 25 products on the market. http://www.consumerhealthdigest.com/top25jointsupport.htm
a product called Phosoplex was rated #1 by them.  FlexProtex
is a new product and their has been no studies done on it yet.

I've been using Flex Protex (and now Flex Protex D) since 2005, and it's amazing.  Sometimes I forget how well it works, but if I go off it a while, then I notice!

It used to be very expensive, but I started buying it on eBay a few years ago -- it's the same stuff at a fraction of the retail price, and I get it in 2-3 days.  I see it sold on Amazon now as well.

I've also noticed that now there's another product sold on TV called Arthri-D, but it's the exact same ingredients as Flex Protex D, at a much higher price.  Thank goodness I can get my Flex Protex cheap on the internet!

my grandmother had crippling RA and I developed it several years ago. My fingers had started curling up and very painful. I was going to RA doctor and receiving steroids and shots to my fingers. That caused so many side effects that I decided I wanted to get off of all medications. A friend told me how Flex Protex had helped her and her mom so much. Within a week I could tell the difference. It has been about 7 yrs now and my fingers are almost totally straight and I have very little pain. I highly recommend Flex Protex. I have given hundreds of people there number. I can not say that it will totally get rid of the problem, but I am off all medications and only using natural herbal products and much healthier than I was 10 to 15 years ago.

I bought 6mos supply of Flex Protex D in Feb/2010 after seeing it on TV.
My main problem was a tendonithis in my right shoulder. It was  very painful, I couldn't raise up my hand without supporting it with my left one, couldn't work with" mouse" on my computer, couldn't work with a knife in the kitchen, couldn't put on my clothing, etc.I was so desperate-my hand  would hang like a rope...Tried different medications, physio,massage,cremes-nothing would work.
Took the capsules religiously, exactly as it's been advised. After about 2 and 1/2 mos started to feel improvement. 4mos later since I started Flex Protex D, we played table tennis with husband. I could swim again, do my chores . I loved it!
Now I'm going to order it again for myself /I'm 69/and for my husband ,80, because he has a knee problem and wants to try it.
See the ingredients - they're all good. We're all different and react differently to the same things. I agree, that the product is quite expensive, but ,fortunately, it worked for me.

I have been reading a lot of the reviews above including mine.  I would like to add something to my original post.  With all naturopathic medicines, we must have patience and also realize that, as in pharmaceuticals, they may not work for everyone  Remember thalidimide(sp)?  Well, it was FDA approved.  FDA approval doesn't mean anything to me.  I must have tried 5 NSAIDS before they found one that worked for me. And I never received a refund from the pharmaceutical company for the products that didn't work!  Now, I would like to say that I have not reduced any of my other meds except the Lyrica.  My blood pressure has not risen due to the bromalean.  As a matter of fact, this ingredient is found in pineapple and is a treatment for Lupus as long as it is not cooked, ie: canned.  Like I said earlier, it is not a panacea.  I still have pain on a continuous basis.  But this seems to take the edge off of it.  My joints don't hurt as much.  My muscles hardly hurt at all. My depression is really reduced.  However, if my Lupus is exacerbated from sun exposure or stress my pain is worse.  But, not to the extent it was.  I found this out when I ran out of FlexProtex D.  I have not had any problems with customer service.  As in all cases, if I did, I would ask to speak with the supervisor.  I don't know anything about the fellow on TV, I just know, that for me, the product does work and is worth what I am paying for it.  I have often been to the health food store to price the ingredients.  I didn't see the savings in buying the ingredients separately.  Besides, why would I want to take 7 or 8 more pills when I am already taking 13 without the FlexProtex.  No, I do not work for the company nor do I intend to.  I just like them and their product.  Good luck to you all

PS:  My husband, who is almost 81, has been taking it for a while and he is noticing the lessening of the pain and now has no pain in his hip and seems to have more energy.  When he started taking the product he misunderstood and for the first month he was taking only one capsule twice a day.  Once he increased to 4 a day, the difference became obvious after about two-three weeks.   So make sure you are taking the correct doseage.  Thanks for reading and again, good luck!

I dont think it matters who you buy the product from.  The issue is the product itself.  The aggrivation comes in when the company (As Seen on TV) agrees to back the product and they scam people by not giving their money back.  I purchased mine off the Television Infomercial.  At the time, I was guaranteed that it would work, or I could get a refund.  Well, it did not work.  It is no more than a vitiman or an old wives tale.  It is a bogus product, that promises people in pain relief.  People who suffer from arthrisis will do anything to get relief.  This company knows that and they are scamming the public to purchase the product with a "money back guarantee."  The purpose of my post is to warn others not to loose thier money on a product that does not work.  You will not get your money back.  The something that is very wrong with America is that people like this are allowed to prey on others and there is little reprecusion.  I have turned thier name into the Better Business Breau who already has a file full of complaints on this company which advertises this bogus product.

What I would like to know is: where or I should say who did you order from?
It seems there have been several people happy and buying more of it. And then there are several who are very unhappy cause it doesn't work &/or they want their money back. All you HAPPY & UNHAPPY people need to say who you bought from. Maybe, hopefully, that might help us all to decide about this product and whether we should try it for ourselves. It sure is CRIMINAL how SOOOO many of us from 25 years old on up are in chronic body pain. Something is very wrong with AMERICA !!!!!!

I tried Flexprotex-D for 90 days and it did not help me at all.  I called today and was told that it was over 90 days since I sent the $119.98 in so I don't get the refund.  I thought I had time as I just finished taking the three bottles to see if it works.  I think this product is a scam and the people that says that it works was actually done by the company to deceived the public.

I have had a horrible experience with this company.  I purchased the product with the expectation it would work or I would get a refund (as it is advertised)  Well it did not work, so  I returned it within the time limits.  I have been told by the company representatives that there is not enough money in their "budgets" for the refunds.  There are many refunds on back order and they are now having to wait to pay people.  I never expect to recieve my money back.  Sad!  The product is a bogus product and certainly not worth the time or money that it cost.  It is unbelievable.  I would NEVER purchase this product again or advise anyone to.  Look up and research it...there are many disatisfied customers.

I have lupus, fibromyalgia, heart disease with hypertension.  I also have severe spinal stenosis and am in chronic pain.   I tried Flexprotex for a while and after about 10 days I could begin to feel the difference in my level of pain as well as the swelling in my joints and my disposition. I ran out because I was sharing my supply with my daughter.  After just a few days, I could feel my old symptoms return.  No, it's not a panacea.  However, I do a lot better on it than off.  If you try the product and you are not satisfied, you do get a refund.  These people seem on the up and up.  Hope this helps and good luck to all

I am a Nutrition Instructor and suggest you look at the ingredients in this product.
As many have said, you can get all of the ingredients that are in Protex D for much more reasonable prices. This product only has 2000 IU of Vit. D and most studies are showing adults need close to 5000IU a day during the Winter months. This alone would also provide improvements
for most people.

I tried a 90 day supply of FlexProtex and I have to say the inflammation is gone in my knees.  I'm 39 yrs. old and I have osteoarthritis and was beside myself last year with so much throbbing pain in my knees.  I shoveled snow one day and by the next day I could hardly walk and this year I've done shoveling of snow and snow blowing and felt good the next day.  I can only say it's been incredible for me and I've reordered another 90 day supply.  My father is 67 yrs. old and has worked on concrete most of his life and has had knee surgeries, but he has not noticed a difference but has decided that he wants me to order him another 90 days to try.  Best of luck to you!

Your stories and comments fit my circumstances so I appreciate them.  I noticed 3 years ago that I was having pain that I couldn't explain in my arms  and hands.  My arms always felt very heavy, and my hands were weak.  I struggled to pick things up or open jars or turn the key in the door.  I know I have some disc problems in my neck and have mild carpel tunnel in my wrists.  I was however,  functioning in my job and daily activities.  I moved from TN. to Fl. last May and my pain increased to a pain level of over 10.  I started experiencing pain in my  foot under my heal and figured it was Plantar Fasciitis.  I was going to a Chiropractor and I got some relief, but also had to get the arch supports.  My hand & thumb pain started in July.  On most days I have a dull ache in my thumbs and elbow (right one) and arms feel heavy.  I have tried to eat right and drink more water.  I have also started exercising more even though the pain is sometimes intense.  I am interested in the Gluten free diet.  I try and watch my sugar intake but through the holiday probably enjoyed to much wine!  I saw the ad for Flex Protex D but glad I looked further and researched it.  Thanks for the info.

Donald Barrett, the infomercial producer for this Flex Protex, states on the infomercial that he's helped peddle many falsely claimed products that don't do anything before Flex Protex (this should make us trust him now?).  That plus the fact that he's been sued by the FTC for over $40 million should tell you that he's a criminal, if not completely unscrupulous.  Anyone who would believe such ridiculous claims without proof or studies or a shred if evidence deserves to have their money taken from them, which is how these con artists get so rich.  The fact that these "solve my problems with no effort" scams make millions for the perpetrators over and over again, even if they're convicted, is a sad reflection of how gullible and ignorant the general public is.

These products, Flex Protex D and Phosoplex are no mystery.
One of the main ingredients in Flex Protex D is turmuric. I buy Turmuric by the jar (it is used in curry recipes) and make my own capsules. It has been a miracle for my inflamation, Other ingredient are Ashwaghanda & Boswellin. You can buy all these ingredients on line or at a health food store and will likely be more potent than buying a processed product.
Phosoplex uses boswellin and copper as well which I don't get much of in my diet since I am a vegetarian so I just eat mushrooms every day.
Both of these products use glucosamine and Phosoplex adds MSM.

I'm a 49 year old male.  Played high school and college football.  Pretty much destroyed my knees.  I'm also about 70 lbs overweight.  I have had arthroscopy surgery on my left knee and was scheduled for the same on the right knee this past summer.  I have tried the glucosamine/condroiden/msm stuff with little help.  The knee surgery heped somewhat but didn't give me the results I had hoped for.  About 8 months ago I tried a product called Celadrin made by a company called Inflame Away.  It took about 1 &1/2 months to really start working but let me tell you, my results were so good that I cancelled my right knee surgery scheduled for this past August.  I'm able to go back to the gym (not running yet) and as any athelete knows, diet alone won't cut it.  Inflame Away's Celadrin can be found at Costco in tablet form.  I was able to find the creme on line which I believe help excellerate the healing and pain relief process.  I find that I rarely need the creme, usually if I over due it at the gym or when it rains (not very often here in San Diego, CA.  I hope to continue loosing weight and get back to co-ed softball.  There are several brands of Celadrin advertised on the internet.  Some of them have glucosamine/condroiden & msm.  I don't know how they would work for you.  Everyone is different.  I highly recommend Inflame Away's Celadrin.  If after 2 months this doesn't help you, then this is not for you.  I realize I still want to be atheletic and most of you just want theb pain to stop and be able to function normally.  I believe the arthritis gets worse as your inactivity increases...a downward spiral.  If you're able, try to even use a stationary bicycle, endure the pain for a week or so and it will get better.  You just need to get over the beginning pain which is where most people quit.  I hope this helps someone, any one.  G-d Bless.

I was checking this out for a friend when I ran accross all these comments good and bad. I worked in a Nutrition store for many years and there where many people who were helped by Glucosomine and Chondroiton combo, and this was a discount company, so the quality probably is not as pure as the more expensive brands, although who really knows???? I found it seem to work better with the MSM added with it. But I get the pure MSM form  ******** website and for me that works very well by itself and I give that to my pets too. I am not sure how having the vitamin D in it helps??? If you take other suppliments and get in the sun regularly you probably should get enough D. But the price of the ones in question seems very high...I think one could buy the discounted ones if it is a good brand and find the same results. I know some of my customers had to take it for awhile and in higher dosages in the beginning (about Double to get into your system faster) But very few said it did not help at all...Sometimes it is a gradule thing and when you stop taking it is when you relize how much it was helping. We seem to forget about the pain when it lessens.!!! I know how it is to not be able to afford taking this stuff, but drugs from doctors will only make you more unhealthy in the long run because almost any drug taken has side affects. The worst that can happen with a natural remedy is that it does not work. It isn't going to cause other herific problems. And eating heathy is also important and if you are not willing to change your bad eating habits, then I guess you deserve the pain.

I appreciate your comments.  I also saw the infommercial on FlexProtextsD and was willing to  maybe give it a try.  I have had 3 cervical surgeries due to degenerative disc disease and suffer from chronic pain and take methadone as the bandaid to cover the pain so at least I can try to function.  I've lost jobs and relationships because of my pain issues.  I am willing to try just about anything at this time, but I need to research FlexProtexts D b4 I take the leap of faith. The spokesperson was touting the benefits of the 2000 units of Vitamin
D as well w/regard to other health advantages. I am on unemployment now and have no insurance so I don't know if a wellness clinic is in my budget.  Good luck to you in your pursuit of a pain free existence.  I am truly amazed at how many people suffer as I do - you start thinking you're all alone with this at times.  I can't take the NSAIDS for inflamation and pain due to IBS and other serious stomach issues.  I do eat only fresh/frozen foods and ocassionaly eat meat because being O positive my body does crave meat from time to time.  If anyone out there has any suggestions I'm all ears.  I have never heard of the Phosoplex?  Is it prescription or over the counter?

I've been suffering with RA and osteoarthritis and Sjogrens syndrome, as well. I found myself so depressed when I couldn't even turn a doorknob... A friend told me about a wellness clinic. I learned at the wellness clinic alot about diet and how it affects auto immune disorders. The diet recommended was difficult, however, I was willing to try anything to help relieve severe pain. With support from the wellness clinic, I went on a Gluten Free, Sugar Free, Dairy Free, No Beef diet. The first week I cried because it was so foreign to me and I was struggling with what to eat, but I figured it out, and it's now been a year and a half. I've read books, and tapped into Gluten free websites. When I follow the strict dietary guidelines, I feel almost painfree. Thanksgiving was tough, and I am still suffering from what I ate that one day... not worth it. I prove to myself over and over that Sugar is not my friend... just by eliminating sugar, I usually feel better. I highly recommend eliminating sugar from your life.   I, too, saw the Flex Protect D infomercial, and was thinking about ordering it. After reading these posts, I think I will continue my diet, and know I will see results. My Rheumatologist is a big supporter of the diet I'm on. I do take Plaquinel, and I hope to be able to stop it soon. Thank you for all those who have offered opinions about Flex Protect D.

I saw this infomercial in the morning and i can only say thank god for the internet. $49.99 for a 1 month supply is insane, the amount of ingredients that this product contains is way overpriced. Take it from someone who has had both knees operated on to say that a proper diet and a good detox along with exercise will make the joint pain subside. You can purchase the ingredients seperately and still come up with a cheaper price.

I have osteoarthritis extremely bad and am only 46 years old.  I have had back surgery once already and now I can't hardly bend my elbows or move my left shoulder, I'm told I have the spine of an 80 year old.  I should add that I am no wimp, I used to weight train and am extremely strong for a girl.   About 3 or 4  years back I accidentally got someone else mail, I magazine from the Life Extension Foundation.  It was awesome and informative about all kinds of supplements.  I finally found the phone number of the person who was supposed to get the mag and she is a dietitian.  She has done lots of research into products and recommend that me and my Mother take the Arthromax formula that LEF makes.  After taking it for a few months I totally QUIT taking my voltarian (prescribed anti-inflammatory for my Ortho Doc).  The voltarian can cause ulcers and was messing with my kidney function, it helped with the pain, but it hurt me in other ways.   After taking the Arthromax for about 4 months, I started only taking 2 a day and then went down to 1 a day.  It was amazing.  I took them for a few years.
Well after a few years I quit taking it because it is about $44 a bottle and of course insurance does not pay for it.  Well it has been almost  a year now and ALL my pain has returned but as mentioned, now it is worse, I can't hardly  use my arms, I can't lift weights, it hurts to use my hair spray or turn my key in the door (hurts in my elbows). Well I decided I will do without something and order Arthomax again. I am in so much pain that my husband said I am becoming a shut in.
I get it from this web site:  www.lef.org
