Are you the same person as the previous poster? I don't have any idea if you are pregnant - you asked if a copper iud would impact the test - and it won't.

I really doubt you are pregnant but if you are convinced you might be even though your tests are negative, go see a doctor for a blood test.

why have you posted under 2 different names? enya and red hot mama. we know you are one in the same! anyway if you have an iud and your bf happened to finger you after masterbating then id say no you are no way preggers. really if you had an iud placed, you really should know about how sex works, and fingering . go back to your dr and learn more.

Just to clear a few things..one I am not retarded nor am I uneducated on sex I was simply asking a question regarding copper in an IUD I recently just had one inserted and was a little disturbed to find that my period did not arrive so I thought perhaps I may have been pregnant and was unsure if copper would somehow effect the HPT; I did however speak with my dr who order a blood test which is neg :) yeah for me! but you all were very rude and not very nice I was scared and seeking out advice and your were completely unhelpful good luck to you all on becoming PG!

The only thing that affects an HPT is the hormone HCG - if you have it, the test can detect it.. if you don't, it won't. Nothing else will impact the test itself.

Anything can cause a period to be late, early, or to disappear so don't worry too much about it at this point.
