I just recently had surgery to put a sling on my bladder, that seems to be working out fine. However, there is an urgent concern..I just went to the OB-GYN and he said I was fine. I went for the checkup after the surgery, and because I just noticed a very unusual looking type thing when i wiped. It looks like a ball organOrgan-1 nr thing dropping out of me. It is pink flesh in colorColor blindness Color blindness tests Color vision test and can be moved. I told my gyn and he said it was fine, if I was having normalNormal saline flush bowel movements, relations, and no pain or bleeding. I don't understand...WHAT is this...and why is it there now...and When will it go away. It looks totally wrong and out of place to me. Help...what should I do? Any suggestions are appreciated. T
I had an A & P repair and bladder suspension in October, 2007. After about 9 weeks and the 2 check-ups after surgery. I revisited my doctor noticing the same thing (the bulge) simular to what I had seen before surgery. I had noticed before surgery and large bulge like organOrgan-1 nr your speaking of protuding out of my vag. area. I was told it was in need of an A & P repair. That surgery I needed to supportSupport Support 500 the bladder suspension I was needing. They suspended my bladder with the sling the firstFirst progesterone mc10 First progesterone mc5 First-progesterone vgs 100 First-progesterone vgs 200 First-progesterone vgs 25 First-progesterone vgs 400 First-progesterone vgs 50 First-testosterone First-testosterone mc time when I had a hysterectomy. Eight years later I am having all this done again. Now I am noticing a smaller bulge after all these repairs. The doctor says everything is OK. I don't have any problems since the surgery. I am just not sure I am getting the straight scoop. I thought the surgery would eliminate the bulge. If you have found out anything regarding this issue let me know. I posted my question under A & P repair l/21/08. Thanks. Hope this info helps.
I ALSO HAD THE SAME SURGERY AND HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. THE MESH THEY PUT IN HURTS ME AND FORGET ABOUT RELATIONS WITH MY HUSBAND THERE IS SOMETHING HURTING ME DR SAYS EVERYTHING WAS FINE ALSO BUT I DONT THINK SO.
I think that doctors just want us to be satisfied with what they are capable of doing, even if there are better alternatives. For example, I am having rectocele, cystocele and tension free taping to resolve urinary incontinence tomorrow and my doctor will not repair my uterus which is at a stage 3 prolapse, because he claims that doctors stopped doing suspension for uterine prolapse 30 years ago. In fact there is a new technique that uses a mesh sling to repair. Obviously he has not learned the new technique and doesn't want to bother to learn. I am frustrated because the uterine prolapse pushes my vaginal wall downward and I feel I will not be normal without this repair as well. I actually have 6 children and have been living with uterine prolapse since child 3, only it is much more advanced. Any thoughts from anyone about this? My doctor is my only choice because I will be uninsured effective Sept. 30, 2009 and he listed as my PCP.
