Dont detect LH from home kit

I am suppose to ovulate on the 5th of this month I took the home test today the 4th and there was no surge. I have children already and never had this problem before, what could it be? I recently had a tubal revearsal and I only have one tube but it is is very healthy the Dr. said. Is it possible I am not ovualting every month because I only have one tube? If I dont ovulate is there medicine to help me ovulate and is it safe???

Oh yes, we baby danced quite a bit over that time frame. Is it possible to not have very elevated BBT's?  I have a friend here at work who is carrying twins and her BBT never fluctuated too much. Is that the norm or is she an oddball like me?? :)

I should have ovulated around 9-29-05/9-30-05 but didn't. I am still using an OPK and doing BBT with still no LH surge or temp increase. I did have an abundance of ewcm yesterday with ovary twinges/pain but still no other signs of ovulation. I know how you feel and it is very frustrating.

Oh, and I've heard of women never getting a "surge" on their kit but still getting pg that month.  Stranger things have happened.  Just watch for EWCM to be the most accurate.

Good luck!

How do you know you're supposed to ovulate on the 5th of this month?  Using the calendar method to predict ovulation is not accurate.  You have to watch your bodily signs instead of the calendar.  You may have already ovulated or will ovulate later than expected.

The doctors can give you Clomid if you are not ovulating -- this will make you ovulate.  It's very safe.  Talk to your doc.

I hope you bd'ed yesterday, sounds like you "o"ed even w/out the LH surge. Did you see what Iwanttobe wrote above, those physical signs are more accurate signs of "o" then LH surge. God bless and baby dust~~~~

if you drink too much or pee too much you could not be allowing enough hormone to get in your urine. after a tubal reversal and with only one tube it is possible to not 'o' regularly or early or late. i would keep taking the OPKs but hold your bladder for 3 hrs first. keep having sex...this will insure you will have sperm there incase you have ovulated already. after 6 mos the doc might suggest clomid or injectalbles to jump start that overy or IUI/IVF if nothing else works. these are safe and alot of woman who have had a reversal and don't get PG on their own have to use a fertility treatments. hope this helps.
