Embarrassed

I'm a 32 year old mother of three and for the past couple months I've been fighing  a foul vaginal odor tht I can't seem to get rid of.  No matter how many showers I take, vaginal cleansers I use, or douche, the odor still seems to remain.  There is no sign of discharge and no pain or burning sensation at all.  Due to numerous laparoscopies from ovarian cysts and endometriosis, I ended up having a partial hysterectomy over three years ago.  Any ideas as to what might be the cause of this embarrassing odor and what i could possibly do or use to get rid of it?

One of the most usual suspects in the foul-vaginal-odor sweepstakes is BV, or bacterial vaginosis.  It takes antibiotics to get rid of it, don't waste your time douching.  Drop by your ob-gyn and get swabbed to test for BV, and take your pills if that's what it is.  Don't let it go, as BV can cause pelvic inflammatory disease.  It's no big sweat, but you do need to see the doctor.
