Exercise and blood clotting

by hjm007, Oct 07, 2005 12:00AM
I have been exercising a lot in the past month, and my eating ahbits have changed a good bit.  I'm still eating healthy, just a lot smaller portions.  I recently have been experiencing blood clotting during my cardio activity, and pinkish-red blood for about 1-2 hours after exercising.  Could this be my body adjusting to my new exercise routine, or possibly something more serious?  I am not on birth control, but am not sexually active.  I also have a history of endometriosis in my family, could this be a symptom of that?  Sorry for so many questions, maybe someone can help. I am just a little concerned.
Thanks

A sudden increase of exercise can delay ovualtion, so I imagine it could cause you to spot, especially if you are not on birth control.  I would call your doctor just in case.
