FINGERING AND PREGNANCY

I posted a similar question earlier, but now I have more to add.

My boyfriend and I were messing around. I gave him a handjob and I think there was precum on my hand. Right after, I touched my v***** with that hand (but I didn't finger myself - as in my finger didn't go in really deep). Pregnancy chances?!?!?!?!? I'm really scared right now!!

When I got home about an hour later, I freaked the f*** out and I took a shower immediately with really hot water. I know this is bad for me, but I was really desperate so I used soap to clean the INSIDE of my v*****, hoping that would kill the sperm if it got up there.

Help me!!!

Like I posted earlier, it wouldn't be instant. They will die, but it takes time.

I did a bit of research and it wasn't the labia majora. it was definitely the vaginal opening but i only went about 1 cm - 1 in (at most) inside.

okay. thank you so much for answering my questions. it's kind of irritated now. just really uncomfortable

IF there was any sperm in there, do you think the soap would have killed it? or am i being really foolish?

im so worried :(

Probably not. It will most likely be sore and irritated for a few days. Just clean it with water for the next few days. If it persists, you might want to check with a doctor and see what they say. The bacteria in the vagina are a delicate balance (which is why such practices as douching are not recommended) and if irritated can make you quite sore and in some cases can cause an infection. I've never gotten soap inside of me, so I have no idea how your body will react, but I doubt it will be terrible. If it lasts for more than a week though, or you notice an odd discharge, (foul smell or weird colour) just call a doctor.

....... i agree with clysta.... you really need ot make sure your educated on what your doing before doing it. if you only touch the labia majora then there is no chance of pregnancy. sperm cannot live very long outside of the body.. and even if you HAD inserted your fingers, you would not have been able to have reached far enough inside for the little bit of pre-emission to do anything.. sperm have a hard enough time survivng long enough for implantation when its done the right way.

and, soap happens.. if your really worried, then just use the shower head and rinse thuroughly.

thank you so much for your help. i agree i should probablywait awhile longer before getting involved in these things.

yeah now it feels a little irritated, but i was incredibly frightened. if the precum got on my finger and then i IMMEDIATELY put my finger around the vaginal opening (maybe about 1cm - 1inch in), are my chances still slim? im not even sure if there WAS any precum, but assuming there was..

:/

It won't just kill them instantly. It would slowly, just like air does. You had next to no chance of pregnancy in the first place, so the soap and water thing was a little overkill. I'm not sure if it would cause an infection. It'll likely irritate the vaginal area. Try reading up on odds and sex education so you get a better idea of these things. It will help so you don't accidentally make things worse in the future. (Not saying you have, but fear can make people do crazy things) Please also reconsider if you're ready to be having sexual activity if something like this caused so much panic. If you are, just make sure to take precautions in the future.

Hopefully one time of washing there with soap won't cause an infection. As far as causing pregnancy, it is possible but I think it would be a bit of a stretch, especially since you didn't inset your fingers inside your vagina. Do you know what cycle day you were on that day? If you can figure out the likelihood of whether or not you may have been ovulating anywhere near that day, that might help to put your mind at ease.

If there's still time, you could do the morning after pill. I think it has to be done within 48 hours of having intercourse, something like that.
