HI.  I found out I had Factor 5 Thrombophilia in my 23rd week of pregnancy.  I inject myself with Lovenox 2 times a day in the stomach.  Ot sounds much worse than it is.  I also take baby aspirin daily.
I'm now 32.3 weeks.  They plan to stop the injections at 35 weeks and then I ger to restart it after the baby is born for another couple of months.
Are you pregnant?

no I am not pregant. I am just concerned because I have one ovary left and I have a cysts and the doctor wants to remove the ovary and I can't take anything for hormones before or after. So it just concerns me because I am not ready for hotflashes etc...

if anyone is having multiple miscarriages.. they really should find out if they have factor V Leiden, Lupus Anticoagulant, Protein C & S irregulatities or any of the other "clotting" factors off.  TELL you dr. to do a workup of these simple blood tests.

btw.. lupus anticoagulant does NOT mean you have lupus.. (some lupus patients do .. but a lot of NON lupus patients are positive for this too).. if you're gyn doesn't know.. see a heamatologist.
