Fertility?

I was just wondering if anybody knows if fertility is at least somewhat hereditary?  My mother and grandmother were both very fertile and had children later in life.

I have never heard any statistics on it, but my mom got pregnant three times on the rythym method, and all three times my sister decided to get pregnant, she got pregnant the first month. My husband and I have only been trying for a month or two, but I have my fingers crossed that it is hereditary because I want some of what they have! Good luck!
