I have very less fetal movements and whatever i have they are very slow. I am in the mid of the 9th month of my pregnancy. I had never experienced a lot of movements, though U/S shows it everything normal. Now my doctor is saying that we should go for a delivery as the fetal movements are very less and it might be due to lack of Oxygen to the baby. Should i wait for the labor pains to occur themselves or go for the artificial labor pains?
At 9 months the baby doesn't have as much room to move around for one thing. But if the doctor thinks you should go in, I'd follow that advice. Ask if there's a way to check the oxygen levels in the baby. And is the fetal heart rate good?
