For any women who have missed periods and not pregnant

I just wanted to make this post for any women who is frantically googling and harassing their friends or family about an out of whack menstrual cycle. I want to say I exactly know how you all feel. My period went out of service for almost 3 months (May and June and first part of July)

I was freaking out because I lost my virginity protected in may and it never came on for that month or june.

I then started to back track other life problems and out of order period mishaps I had before it took a leave of absence.

Im a 22 year old college student and moved out on my own last year in August. That is when my periods began to come later and later. By the time the new year came around in January my period stopped.

The factors that played into my period having a leave was that I was eating poorly, being that im young falling in and out of emotional relationships, college coursework, and excessive weight gain. Moving out on my own was a new part of life and beginning. which could have changed my period schedule. I can also remember being so busy that I would forget that I had a period come for whichever month I mean it was a mess!!

Maybe it was losing my virginity that could have played a big part in the hormonal imbalance I have no clue but I got my period today after almost 3 months.

This summer I began to excerciser. I lost 10 pounds, I drink a lot of water and eat nothing but healthy foods or in portions. I then started seeing a change in my body. Im so happy that I dont have to stress about a missed period and not being pregnant.

So this post is for anyone who happens to google and sstumble across this post in hopes of wondering where is thir period.

I also went to the dr once my period starting acting crazy and they prescribe me birth control and I never took them and Im glad I didnt. Sometimes the body need to naturally reset itself and the best way is to excercise and track your menstural.

Yes, there are many reasons to skip periods.  I had a thyroid issue in my 20's and had a cycle every 3 to 4 months.  I had pms a good portion of the cycle and as we know, PMS symptoms can be a little like pregnancy symptoms.  It was confusing.  But tests showed it was a slow thyroid.

I had a year where my periods were extremely light, unpredictable and sometimes skipped a monthly cycle completely. Which was unlike me because my cycle had always been spot on! It was all attributed to extreme stress. I was working full time, had a small child, attending college and having extreme marital problems at the time.
I saw my doctor and she was right, as time passed and my stress slowly decreased everything went back to the way it was before all of the craziness had started.

I would suggest talking with your doctor and being completely honest about everything going on when this started and how its affected you in any and all ways and go from there.
