Gallbladder stones

Hello! When someone has Gallstones does the Dr. just take the stones or the whole Gallbladder?

Hi...if they are really tiny they may leave them to pass by themselves.
If they are larger they can be blasted by a laser.
I think nowadays they take the gallbladder as a last resort.
I had gallbladder attacks for years...they wanted to schedule me forever ago for surgery...
I opted to wait and over time... I've been fine.
Try to avoid really fatty foods...That helped me.

Thanks for your comment but, I think I am going to half the surgery, to remove the whole gallbladder. They diagnosed me with.Oops! I cant pronounce that word.I dont even no how to spell it. Thank you so much you did answer my question.
