Getting the daily fluid intake?

I know you are supposed to drink something like 8 glasses of water a day. I drink a lot of V-8 juice, 1-2 cups veggie, 2-6 fruit, between 2-6 cups of green tea a day, 1-3 glasses of milk, and 1 or 2 glasses of water with lemon. Does all of that count as the proper amount of fluid I'm supposed to get or do you have to include more water with that?

The idea is to drink plain water. 8 glasses of just water a day to help hydrate and clean out your system.  i would also average things out over the week.  Most people don't drink three glasses of milk.  It is dairy products so yogurt and cheese count towards those servings.  People do think that having a couple of cups of coffee and soft drinks count as their fluid intake but actually you need to drink twice as much water if you are drinking those types of things

It sounds pretty good to me, Nalla.  A lot of people don't get that much liquids into themselves everyday. Yep, might be healthier to have more water, but you are getting the liquids and it's not from pop. Take care.tmv
