Good Morning/Open Forum Tuesday

Well good morning ladies!  Just thought I would say hi before heading off too work.
Is anyone doing anything exciting for halloween?  We had a halloween party at work last Friday and employees brought there kids in - about 60 came though!  They were all sooooo cute in their costumes (of course they are cute normally too)!  A couple of us dressed up for the kids and I dressed up as a mean witch and managed to scare a few kids ;(
I live out in the middle of no-where so dont think I will have any trick-or-treaters come by my house.

Hey ladies!!
Yeah I miss the fun of Halloween and being bale to dress up and be somebody else for a night. I went to a halloween party sat. night and dressed up as Frenchie from Grease , but it wasn't as fun as when I was a kid. I guess i'm still pretty young and considered a "kid" to a lot adults. I don't have any children myself , but my younger sister is going to be a mouse. I can't wait to hand out candy tonight and see all the cute little kiddies!! I live in Southern Oregon and we still get a ton of older kids that trick or treat and some adults who dress up with their children and accept candy as well. The only weird ones I've come across are adults with half a**ed costumes that come to the door, but have no kids with them...kinda different but oh well. Hahha what a funny trick to play on your kids!! I hope it doesn't freak them out too much!! Have fun everyone!!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

oh, my daughter pulled that on me a few times and i put in hours sewing her costume.  i'm a meanie...i told her it was the costume she originally requested or she could just stay home!

thanks for the reminder ladies,,,,i haven't bought any candy!!!  that's what happens what your kid hits 16 and you're not doing costumes and fun parades at school.

i have a hunch it was because it was coupled with a bit of sarcasm.

i didn't think rude, just sarcastic.  i tried to be friendly, and the response seemed sarcastic, as if in disbelief.  sorry if it was misinterpreted.  i sincerely hope it was.

No hostility, I just thought it was a random question. I answered you and posted a link, so you wouldn't have to look for yourself. Didn't realize posting a link would put you on the defense.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN LADIES!!!!  I live in St. Charles, Mo....and on Main St., all of the shops hand out candy from 3-5pm...it is sooooo perfect, especially with little kids!  It is so nice, because it is still outside, but during daylight, and all of the shops have someone standing at the door handing out candy as we show up!!  Then we go home, and the kids hand out candy to the neighbors!!  Anyway...HAVE FUN!!

Hey ya'll!!!! My kids are going to be a vampire and a zombie. I wanted them to be something cute. Of course they didn't want to. i get to clue horns on ones head, that ought to be fun.lol I tried to tell her zombie's don't have horns, but she wants to wear'em. i'm so excited!!! i am goin to play a prank on them after school. I got some worms at the $ tree. I'm gonna get them a kids meal and put the worms in their burgers. lol I got big ones so they won't get choked on'em. that wouldn't be good.Their older cousin had told them a while back that McDonalds makes their burgers out of worms. I'm gonna give a new meaning to worm burgers. lol I CAN'T WAIT!! I'm worse than the kids this time of year. They think they're gettin so old! Wanting to watch scary movies and stuff.  A friend of ours is comming to beat on their windows tonight right after bed time, with a mask on. lol ,lol, lol Before hand I'm gonna tell them about halloween. How the dead comes back to walk with living. I'm gonna flip'em out!! It may be cruel, but I'm gonna do it anyway. lol I CAN'T WAIT! I'M SO EXCITED!!!!

Halloween! my parents never would let me dress up for it - but I'm supposed to dress up at work tonight, (I'm gonna be a pirate!) I work in the mall and lots of kids come trick or treat there instead of going out in the neighborhood, it's supposed to be safer. I'm excited! :)

It had an "A" on the end of it last week:

I can find an older thread than that, if you'd like.

yes.  i originally began here with my first initial and last name (i think that's what it was) and then got an email about one week later from cindy telling me that it wasn't allowed.  she assigned me the name:  sk are my initials, 2006 is obvious, but i have no idea why the "A" :)

Because it's always had an "A," so that was kind of a random question. That would be like me asking if you always had "22" after your name, that's all.

wow, casey, i merely tried to post something nice to you. just trying to be cordial.  there wasn't anything underhanded, sneaky or insincere involved.  it's was a simple welcome back, that's all.  and no, i haven't changed my name in any way, shape or form.  however, i would like to, merely because it doesn't really mean anything to me.  after all, i didn't exactly pick it out.
