I did end up having emergency surgery this week. Uhg. Still recovering, but I am beginning to feel a bit better none the less. Apparently, this was a SECOND pregnancy and it was in fact, eptopic and had begun bleeding internally. Thus explaining why my HCG levels were at first low (1st miscarriage) and then jumped up again (2nd pregnancy) and then began going down (2nd miscrriage). It was about 4 weeks along. So, apparently, you can get pregnant during a miscarriage! Good to know. Anyway, they removed it with no problem and the pain and bleeding have stopped. I am SO relieved to have this ordeal overwith and get back to feeling like myself again.
By saying "if the one that went down was wrong" I meant "if the hCG level that went down after the others were going up was wrong, or inaccurately measured, or just one of those flukey measurements that hCG levels can do on a given day," then you still could be at risk for molar. Good luck, tell the doc NOW that you have pain, and schedule that surgery! Annie
My first thought as I read your story was, HAVE IT OUT immediately. If the hCG levels are all accurate, it could still be an ectopic that has finally failed, but molar pregnancies are nothing to mess with either and if the one that went down was wrong, you aren't out of the woods there either. Try to schedule the surgery right away, call your doc and explain the pain. You really don't want to have to go in as an emergency case if you can help it!!! Good luck, and my prayers will be with you. Annie
