HPV Jab

Im in England and im not sure if its the same in the US but the HPV vaccine has been given to girls aged 12-16 (or up to 18) before they are sexually active.
However, i saw a billboard thing saying that now girls 19 and over, even if they have had sex, can get it from Lloyds pharmacies to offer at least a little protection against cervical cancer, but i cant find anymore info on it. i would like to get the jab, so has anyone else heard anything about this????
