HPV (cervical cancer) Jab

I'm 18 and have just had my first jab for HPV vacination today after my doctor really pushed me to get it and told me it was worrying that I hadn't had it yet! But after hearing the news about the girl dying after having the jab I researched it and have found so many stories of girls who have had such bad side effects like blackouts and fatigue and even paralysis! I have felt very very tired and slightly dizzy all day today which isn't normal for me! This is probably just down to having an injection and isn't worrying me but I don't think I want any of the follow up jabs. I want to know what effect it would have if I just left it and didn't have any of the two follow up jabs at all? Would it just be ineffective altogether and stop me havign any of these possible side effects?
