HYDROSALPINX

HOW IS HYDROSALPINX USALLY TREATED? AND EVERY WHERE I READ IT SAY THAT IT IS USALLY CAUSED BY SEXUALLY TRANSMITED DIEASE BUT I WAS WONDERING IF IT COULD BE CAUSED BY YOU HAVING YOUR TUBES TIED OR HAVING A REOCCURING UTI?

I had a hydrosalpinx too.  I suspect is was the result of the Essure device.  There were problems with placing it in the now affected tube.  Since then I have had the tube removed but the pain continues.  Our next step is to perform a Hysterectomy as it is not possible to remove just the coils.  My hydrosalpinx was discovered by accident during a hospitalization for a condition unrelated.  Is anybody else having similar experiences to ours?

I have hydrosalpinx too. mine is as a result of Essure, at least that is the idea right now. I have the have the tubes removed, maybe some or all of the Uterus (because of Essure) When were your tubes tied, is that when you showed the Hydrosalpinx? how did you present? I am VERY swollen, I look 3-4 months pregnant, no period, low back and pelvic pain.
