Hard hymen and crappy gyn help

I have always had a hard time having sex. It has always been so painful. I went to the gyn to see what was wrong and he told me I had a partial hard hymen left. He did not believe me when I said I have been having sex. He just kept insisting that I was virgin and talking down to me like I was a teenager not know what I was doing. He was saying some of the hymen is so soft that there is no way I have been having sex. I asked what I could do to break it and he told me I should not bother with sex. "Women don't need to have sex unless they want a baby" is what he told me. I don't know how old he thought I was or was reading the wrong charts but kept going back to 'I delivered five teenagers babies this month'. He seemed to not want to help me with this at all. He just kept saying 'If I was your father I would advise you from having a sexual relationship'. Finally he told me to use a soft sex toy to try an break it but if my boy friends 5in thick penis can't break it what is a dildo going to do? Other than that he just told me to go at it and bite my lip through the pain if I had to have sex, 'a few years of that will eventually break it' and refused to help further.

So my question is is there any trick to break this bugger or should I try and find a new doctor willing to do something further?

Let me clarify. As in surgically.  It is very unusual to have this kind if difficulty that sex does not break the hymen.

I would think a doctor could safely break it.  Good luck

First off, get a new gynecologist. Yours sounds like a complete jerk. I've never heard of a hard or soft hymen before, but it sounds like you might have a micro-perforated hymen instead, where the hole in the hymen is extremely small. This can cause extreme pain when inserting a tampon or having penetrative sex.
Micro-perforated hymen can be fixed by either practicing and working your way up slowly (to bigger sizes, in order to slowly stretch the hymen), which can be painful, or having surgery done to create a normal-sized hole.
But seriously, get a new gynecologist.
