How old were you when you had your very first period?

I'm trying to figure out the average age for puberty and periods..

Everyone is a bit different when it comes to puberty and periods. The average age for beginning stages of puberty is 9 to 10 y.o.; the average age for menstruation/ 1st period is between 12 to 13 y.o. ~ give or take a year.
