Heavy bleeding

So these past few months my period has been very heavy with a lot of bleeding. I've been having to change tampons like every 2-4 hours, and that is using the super plus ones. Is there anything to do about it?

Hi there.  The above information is a bit inaccurate.  It is not abnormal to have heavy periods especially on the first day of your period in which you change your pad every two hours.  That is completely normal.  check with your doctor for reassurance.  good luck

heavy bleeding is good as it lightens your body..but excessive beeding i.e changing pads after every 2 hrs is not normal....

Ugh, sorry to hear hon.  I've had some time periods in my life in which my period is really heavy too and it is a pain.  Really, not much you can do about it unless you want to go on the pill.  Do you have a lot of cramping too?
