i know this is not the place for this but i need to pass a hair test! i have a weekend to pass  any help!! Pease my job depends on it i know not to do drugs in the first place but....

Unfortunatly there is nothing you can do for the hair test.  That is the most accurate sample and the best test available for drugs.  If you have even done something like cocaine in the past 4 months it will show in a hair sample.  (Usually coke will only last 2 -3 days in a pee test, marijuana, 3weeks.)  I think your screwed.

Well I heard that if you cut your hair short and bleach the hell out of it this works, but that might be really obvious. I have never been in this predicament before, but I read in a magazine once that natural food stores have some shampoo that could work too.

I believe there is a shampoo you can buy - but I doubt it works...

I had to take a hair test once - they took a pretty large chunk of hair actually, and tested me for 5 or 6 different things... I had smoked 3 months prior, but I htink they only tested 3 months (they can do up to a year, but more $$)...

I was nervous, but I passed. And I learned my lesson, drugs were not worth missing out on a job!!!

Aren't you TTC'ing?? Nice, real nice. Well, in my line of work we often send probationers for hair follicle testing. One guy did go for a buzz cut and bleached out his hair and passed. We later found out he should have flunked it. Don't believe the internet sites that sell special cleansing shampoos, because they won't work.

Losing your job would be bad, but for God's sake, ditch the drugs if you're trying to get pg.

I hate to tell you this ,but you can't pass a hair test if you've done anyting. Shave your head?!? If it's just a pee test- sure gel will do it. If you have long hair drugs you did years ago will still be on it. they usually test at the root, but there is no way of getting it out. Sorry.

I work in a pharmacy and we just had someone in yesterday looking for something similar.  Pharmacist told this person that it doesn't work well, and you can cleanse your system but it would take at least 3 days, and that's for a pee test, that was the best she could tell him.  Other than that the guy was screwed.  He had to take the test in 1 hour, bet he learned the hard way too.  I'm surprised that you know in advance of the testing.  Everywhere I have worked they have done it randomly, they tell you as they are sending you to test.  Hope it works out for you, but it's sad that you would ttc while you know that you are putting these substances in your body.  Maybe this is a wake up call, good luck.

I can't believe people are trying to give suggestions for this.  I look at it as - She KNEW she should NOT be doing this for her job - Well damage is done and I think now she'll have to face the consequence - Sorry but that is my opinion.  Better pray for a miracle if your job REALLY depends on it and then I would straigten up and NOT make that mistake again - Good Luck.

Come on ladies, everyone makes mistakes. We all have. Including me. Everybody knows they shouldn't do drug's, drink alcohol, cuss, drive fast,, eat too much red meat, gossip, ect...... ,but we all have one time or more in our lives. I did acid when I was young. Yes, I am older and more mature now, but if anything were to EVER happen -I had to have a spinal check the acid would show. So, I have heard. Have you all heard that country song , I can't remember the name, where the boy see's pictures of his mom BERFORE SHE WAS MOM. I was wild and crazy, but that does not make me a bad mother. I learned from many of my mistakes.

Honestly, I could care less if she snorts a fat line of meth with her coffee every morning, but I do take issue with a woman who has been actively TTC'ing since August (or longer) worrying about passing a hair test. That's what bothers me.

I agree with the ttc part. I didn't know she had been trying that long. A hair sample can go back three months though, I think. She never said what she had done though. Did she?

Oh boy! I don't think there is anything that you can do, Jess, except maybe not ttc until you get this aspect of your life straightened out. Perhaps your not getting pregnant is the higher power's way of saying you aren't ready yet.

Own your decision, flunk the test and move on.

I totally agree that we all make mistakes, but like mirtek?? said, own it! And trying to have a baby when you know you can't even pass a simple drug test??
I don't know about everyone else, but I think you should learn from your mistakes by taking responsibility for them, not try to cover them up illegally which in my book, is just ANOTHER mistake.
Suppose she works at a  Dr.'s office? A Pediatrician's office? And is responsible for giving your children injections? For caring for little babies in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit? What if she is a school bus driver? There are so many reasons and examples for why this can't be blown off as a mistake. These drug tests are given for good reasons. They are not cheap, but are done to protect people like you and me. If she fails, then she needs to find work elsewhere after she gets cleaned up.

In the first place, you can do what ever the ************* you please in this life, every one does, and every one makes mistakes (like that one poster said) but, Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesus! do you even have a little bit of common sense?? I think you need a rehab clinic instead of an OBGYN clinic dear.
Please, get help before you wrongly bring to this world a poor innocent creature......
