Help! Im worried about this Clear Watery Fluid Gushing out of my Vagina?

Hi, I am 23 years old and married. I have three younge children. I also have my tubes tied for about a year. Yesterday and today I have been leaking this Clear fluid from vagina. It started out in smaller amout (more like a leak) but very noticeable, and increased. I have gushed one time,Yesterday and then it seemed to slow down. Today while I was excercising I gushed out such a large volume that I soaked my underwear and my pants. Like, if I had a dress it would have puddled the floor a little, or soaked a pad. I have never had any type of discharge like this befor. It is clear and and very thin, like the consistancy of water, infact i almost couldnt tell the difference if i didnt know. It has No smell and No color. It really feels like when my water broke, but I have my tubes tied so.... I Is it possible to be pregnant, or ectopically pregnant? I am just starting to get concerned. I know that its normal to flush a little fluid from your vagina as your bodys own self cleaning system, but this is nothing like that, this is like *Gushes* of fluid. Can any one help? Does anyone know what this could be? Thankyou.

I have not logged in here or posted for a few years, it's amazing to me how long this post continues to grow and how many women especially in the United States don't get the information that they need. But I can guarantee it's not necessarily fibroid or anything like that because I had a full hysterectomy including my ovaries a few years ago but the water still comes. I haven't released it in so long that I think I was getting stomach cramps so I indulged in a little bit of self entertainment, on top of a waterproof mattress pad of course, and again the liquid that came out was clear and not urine in any sense.  I'm not saying that's what it is for everybody but I wish there was a group we could form for those of us who get this clear liquid, possibly related to arousal… I think the most helpful person on this thread so far was the woman in India I believe… Best wishes to all, now and always.

Thanks for sharing your experience shellmail.  I'm not really a true believer as I think it is usually urine but here's a whole article on the subject.  https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/323953#about.  They do call it female ejaculation but I guess others call it squirting.  It's high in fructose.  And it has to do with the Skene's gland (which I didn't even know we had, but guess we do!).  They've now done some studies and they say 10 to 50 percent of women have female ejaculation but aren't always aware of it (less fluid).  Interesting, right?
Thanks. Don't really need you to be a true believe as I (and others here) have experienced it repeatedly... But if you're reading it is high in sugar why are you still believing it is pee? And it is a shame 10-50 percent experience it yet our doctors know nothing about it. Call it squirting or gushing, it's no similarity in consistence to ejaculation and comes from a different hole than urine. That's for sure.

I'm 52 and experienced this for the first time about 3 years ago.  It turned out to be a very large fibroid (about the size of an egg) that was undetected despite multiple ultrasounds because of its odd position.  It required surgery for removal.  Unfortunately today I feel a little bit of leakage, very similar to the way it started a few years ago.  I'll keep tabs on it but do not accept this as "normal" it isn't.

Thanks for sharing your experience.  It can possibly be different things for different people but this is a distinct possibility that women should keep in mind.  I appreciate your giving your story to help others. Come back more often!  :>))

I'm 46 and walked into the kitchen at work. Suddenly felt a gush of fluid and went to the bathroom to check. My pantyliner was soaked with clear, oderless fluid. I'm currently ovulating but this has never happened before.

I can’t believe how old and still active this post is! And we all have the same issue which doctors still can’t seem to find an actual cause for! That’s crazy. I thought I was the only one.
I’m 24, never pregnant, sexually active with only 1 partner. So far this gushing/leaking of clear odorless watery discharge has been going on for about 4 months and I feel like I’m going to lose my mind. I haven’t been able to wear thongs or fancier panties like I used to (first world problems,I know) and it’s ruined my self confidence day to day and in bed. I hate not being comfortable in my own damn underwear. I have had to wear a pad everyday for the past 4 months, and sometimes even tampons because it was so heavy and constant, and I don’t know how much longer I can go on like this. I’ve been to an OBGYN and had every test possible run I feel like, and all that’s gotten me is into debt, still no answers. She was convinced I had bacterial vaginosis or trich (STD) but the tests all came back negative. I was prescribed Flagyl  (metronidazole) for a week, it did nothing. I was prescribed FemPH vaginal jelly which is basically vinegar to insert daily. I did that for a few days until it was burning/beating up in there and I started bleeding. Stopped taking that and the bleeding stopped. My doctor has been useless and I haven’t been back since she basically left me with “try this and see if it works for a while”.
What I HAVE done on my own that has helped to some degree (as in instead of me soaking through pads+underwear+my pants I only wet the pad) is started taking women’s probiotics. This has lightened the amount some, and maybe if I do it for long enough it’ll stop? I’m not sure, I’m just guessing here. I’ve tried RePHresh Pro-B and this was not helpful, it only made me incredibly bloated and had to go poop like every hour. I’ve tried VitaminBounty Women’s Pro-Daily ones, they didn’t do much for me again, just make me gassy, although much less than the RePHresh. The last ones I’ve tried which have been making a difference are the Hyperbiotics Pro-Women
I’m not sure if it’s the D-Mannose in then, which I’ve heard is helpful with female reproductive tract issues, but they actually did SOMETHING. And I have only taken them for about two weeks so far. If it stops this long term, I’ll come back and update.
Best of luck everyone, you are not alone!

Forgot to mention, I’m also on brith control (LoLoestrin FE) for the past 2-3 years now. I know discharge is common when you first start using bc but not after this long I would assume. And I also take antidepressants (from before I had this issue not because of it lol)
I'm 21 and I've had the exact same problem for 4 months to the point of crying every day about it and stressing day and night, I've only had sex once and didn't get a pep smear so I don't know if it's sth sexually transmitted that is causing it, but I got tested for infection etc and the results were clean. Idk what to do I'm losing my mind. Im literally leaking all day every day , if you have to suggest ANYTHING would help to ease my mind a little
Not sure if it's related to having sex or not, but it's always good to get annual pap smears when you become sexually active! :) Also, a pap smear will detect any STDs which a blood test can't, so maybe get one just to be safe?
Although, for me personally, I've had every gynecological test possible it seems like (including pap smear) and none of them came back positive, so it's still a "medical mystery" but for me, personally, I've been taking the probiotic I mentioned above ( the Hyperbiotics Pro-Women probiotic)  for a few weeks intensively at first (like 2-3 times a day) and now once a day and they have lessened the amount of leakage considerably. Like I don't have to wear pantyliners all the damn time anymore. I'm not sure if this would work for you, you might have to just try a bunch of different methods to see what helps, which is what I did till I got to this point.
But maybe if you get a pap smear/STD test it'll help you see if it's related to that? My doctor was convinced I had bacterial vaginosis (but nope) so it could also be that? I don't want to say I hope you have BV but man, it would be better having an answer and a treatment than dealing with the unknown everyday.
The “leaking” u guys r talking about is NORMAL.  U will most Likly notice that at certain times of the month it’s even heavier. USUALLY that means u r ovulating. But don’t try to use that info keep from getting pregnant.     Most women have no idea when they ovulate. It’s usually ABOUT in the middle of ur monthly cycle. About 10-15 days after ur last period. But again, each body is DIFFERENT.  If ur test results came normal, then u r ok.  Just buy urself some panty liners. U can buy a box at the dollar store for a buck  it’s normal. It happens to lots of women. Some produce more than others. It’s also a natural form of lubricant.  As we get older, usually ur body will produce less.   As long as ur body is ovulating u will have this discharge.
I disagree that this is "normal ovulation". I'm not a teenager, I know I ovulate and produce discharge, I went to nursing school, not that it matters. What people are saying is that this discharge has become increased very suddenly and is literally flowing out like water, not normal, sticky, slightly thicker discharge which I have had my whole life up until now and I understand is completely normal.
This is NOT NORMAL. I have to wear TAMPONS-not pantyliners, not pads, TAMPONS- because it's so heavy. This started all of a sudden one day and hasn't stopped, so I hardly think this is a normal occurrence.  And I have to wear them every day. Do you know how extremely uncomfortable it is to feel like you have your period every single day of your life? I'm borderline suicidal over this, so no, this isn't a "normal bodily function".
Why even bother offering your opinion if it isn't helpful? We clearly know we have a problem because we are on this forum. If you really think all the women here are that stupid that they don't recognize normal ovulation and discharge when they see it, then you shouldn't be here.
See a doc, it might be urine. Sometimes there are unusual tubes or a fissure.
It's not urine. It's completely odorless and colorless.  Also what you mean is called a fistula, an abnormal opening connecting two tubular organs. I've looked into this as well, specifically urethrovaginal fistulas which seem to be only a rare complication from pelvic surgeries such as having tubal ligation.
Alright so I was half awake lying on my back and I felt a gush of fluid, I turned onto my side and more came out. I felt down there just to be sure it and was definitely not pee! Not too long afterwards I felt some slight cramping in my back and pelvic area like when I would get Braxton hicks. I  am 25 with a 4 year old daughter. For the past couple of days leading up to this I noticed an increased amount of discharge but wrote it off to ovulation. I read on another forum that this gush of fluid can sometimes be the first symptom of herpes simplex 2, I had unprotected sex 2 weeks ago and now I am freaking out! Has anyone else experienced this? It was definitely not pee but smelled somewhat like it. I have some lingering back pain, no vaginal discomfort and no irritation when urinating
Ugh, I haven't had this.  Since you've read that it could be a sign of herpes (which I to be honest have not heard or read but will take your word for it), then it makes sense to go ahead and go to the doctor.  You can get a screening for std's (find out appropriate window periods) and also ask about the fluid gush if it is related to that or not.
I seem to be fine now. I called and left a message for my OB to schedule an appointment. I have actually had this happen before, where I was asleep and felt like I had peed myself a little. I just assumed that is what had happened but now I am not so sure. Possibly it was the same thing that happened today just not as much. I will keep yall posted about what my dr says.
Ya, definitely let us know the outcome of your appointment.
Well girls, I am sitting here still trying to wrap my brain around what has happened today. I went to the dr for a check up, they performed a pap smear and sent me to have a sonogram done after I explained to the nurse why i was there. During my sonogram they called my OB in (normally i see a nurse practitioner, the OB is who i used when i was pregnant) she decided then and there to perform an endometrial biopsy. She told me to try not to be alarmed but that my endometrial lining was extremely thick. I have no history of endometriosis. I experience no pain and rarely any discomfort during my periods. I ocassionally have pelvic cramping and back pain which at times is severe but it has never happened frequently enough to cause concern. Yet here i am, 25 and being tested for uterine cancer. If you havent seen a doctor about this, please go now. If youre still experiencing this problem after seeking professional help, get a 2nd opinion. I should have my results in a few days. I will keep you posted.
And just so you guys know, you can have a normal pap smear and still have uterine cancer.  I asked about this because I had my annual pap smear 4 months ago and it was normal.  OB said that occasionally you will have uterine lining in your pap in which case they would call you further testing but not always.

I am 15, and have been experiencing this periodically. I'm not sexually active (nor ever have been) but I irregularly masturbate. This happens whether I'm aroused or not, usually accompanied by blood. I recently had my period, really lightly with brown/old blood for over 30 days (my doc says this is because I'm moving into an ovulatory cycle) but the substance is always with bright red blood.

I am going to see on. I ham 51. No sex recently. Wondered about estrogen dominance. Had a small gush about a month ago when sleeping. Last eve it was a big gush. Clear fluid but a lot. Had to change pjs. I’m thinking cyst or estrogen dominance.

Sorry for bad spelling
Also startied taking baths vs showers lately and wondering if that is the cause. I also started to use feminine wash instead of Dive soap which I’ve used. All my life. Strange timing with baths and gushing and using feminine wash.
And a week after gush I get a UTI
