The truth is, I let an untreated yeast infection alone and you know what happened? It turned into a infection and I wound up with Pelvic Imfammitory Disease and this thing attacks your reproductive organs. Not only did I have to be put on antibiotics but I had to use something called Metrogel that cost me $50 for a tube that is inserted daily into my vagina until the tube is empty. I think for me it was a 10 day treatment. You can get alot of pain and burning and itchyness if you dont treat this. and anytime you pee it will feel like someone is passing a lite match against your crotch. It's not a joke. Take care of yourself it's important if in the future you want kids.

you will be itchy and have a lot of discomfort. i dont kno if there are any long term effects. you should ask our parents or gaurdians for the money to treat it. or go to the doctors and they can check out out

Taking certain antibotics will give you a yeast infection. Why are you taking antibiotics if you're not suppose to? If you have a yeast from the Antibiotics then all you need to do is go to the pharmacy and get monostat or an equivilant and start that course. You should start feeling better within 24-48 hrs but dont stop the course until you finish all medications. And it is not advisable to start monostat until you finish your antibiotics.

if a systemic yeast infection is the same as a regular yeast infection, it is in NO way fatal. normally the skin outside your vagina red, itchy, or irritated. your discharge may be thick and white, and have NO foul odor. if you're that worried, check in with your doctor and have him make sure a yeast infection is what you have. i have a yeast infection, right now and i used a monistat 1-day kit and it seems to be working. you can buy them at almost any grocery store!
