Herbal Teas

Has anyone every tried dandelion pills or dandelion tea. I have frequent eye styes and have heard these could help. I have not sure about some herbal things. Does anyone know any safe ways to get rid of eye styes?

I've never had one but, a guy I work with gets them every couple of years. He uses a tea bag, regular tea. One time he did have to go to dr and get a salve.
