Hi, I'm 30 yrs old and have had on and off moderate high blood pressurePressure ulcer for the last 5 years. Most of my readings NOW are around 130/85, but it used to get as high as 145/100. I'm very active, within normalNormal saline flush weight range and eat really good so the only thing left is genetics.
Maybe buy a blood pressurePressure ulcer cuff at home to monitor it yourself. A lot of people get nervous at the Dr.'s office and the result is a high bp reading. I hope this helps a little. :-)
I managed to bring it down from the high range by cutting back on sodium/caffiene and alcohol. My Dr. agreed that it's not horribly high enough to put me on meds right now especially since I'm trying to conceive, but it's something I'll always have to watch. From what I understand any consistant distolic bp over 85 is worth keeping an eye on.
