I am 26 yrs old. I have a 3 yr old son who I delivered via c-section. I have had several surgeries (laproscopy+D+C) since having my son. I have moderate endometriosis. I was put on Seasonel BCP in Jan, and have had normalNormal saline flush periods every 3 months ever since. I started having bad cramps and swollenSwollen glands abdomen in June. I saw my Dr, and he did an emergencyEmergency airway puncture Emergency contraception surgery to see what was going on. He did another D+C w/lapro in July. I never recovered. I was put on antibiotics 5 times since then. I have continued to have cramping, pain, swellingAbdomen - swollen Ankle sprain swelling Breast - premenstrual tenderness and swelling Foot swelling Foot, leg, and ankle swelling Gums - swollen Joint swelling Mastoiditis - redness and swelling behind ear Scrotal swelling Swelling, and have gained over 40 pounds in just the past 4 months. I never had any bleeding after this past surgery, which I always have had before. My doc said that I would have heavy bleeding after the surgery, so that it would flush the infection out. I just stopped my bcp to start my period, and never got one. It's been 3 weeks now with no period. Symptoms are now much worse and also include severe breat tenderness, sore nipples, nausea, migraines, I sure thought I was pregnant, but I just took a test that was negative. I just moved to another state, so I couldn't go back to see my regularRegular insulin doctor again. I saw the new doctor today and they did a papPap smear Pap smears and cervical cancer, and ran some tests, but didn't know what was wrong. They said they don't see any infection present. I am so sore to even touch my lower stomach, and the cramps are so bad that I want to go to the ER. They did NOTHING at the doctor, and ref me out for the labwork and CT scan. They told me to come back in 3 weeks for results. WHAT??? I can't wait that long, I am in sooooo much pain. They didn't really care. I told them that I would rather go to the ER to get the CT scan, ultrasound, and bloodwork to find out what is causing this horrible pain. They said that would be fine, but due to my insurance (military) I have to follow their protacol and wait to be seen when they have time. I feel pregnant, and certainly look pregnant, but again have had a negative test. What could this be?? I am going to go to the ER tomorrow, as I have pain meds from my surgery left over. They don't even really help. I am in the worst pain, and can't even walk. I can't believe they just told me to wait this out. This has been going on waaaayy too long. I know that I have endometriosis and I know that it causes pain, but I have never felt like this before. I have all the symptoms of pregnancy, but also have the horrible pain. I don't know what to do and wanted to see if anyone else has had this type of issue. I don't know if it can be caused by another organ in my stomach and cause missed period and pregnancy symptoms?? Everyone I see asks me if I am pregnant. I look very pregnant. I am so worried. I have always been thin, and now I am gaining weight like crazy and I have not changed anything with my diet or anything. I am so scared. To gain weight that fast and that much is not like me. I feel so crappy that I can't even force myself to get up and do anything. Please offer suggestions to help us figure out what could be wrong while we wait. Thanks so much. I hope someone can help.
I know someone who had a cyst or fibroid the size of a grapefruit in her abdomen. Don't know about the pain she was in, but it sure made her look pregnant. Sorry I can't help you, I would go to the ER too and let the chips fall where they may, insurance-wise.
