Hi!Has anyone tried pre-seed lubricantLubricant eye drops for conceiving.I am getting contradictory feedbacks from different ladies on the effectiveness of pre-seed.Is it really sperm friendly and worth trying.Kindly share your experiences.
If you have a very dry vagina than pre-seed may be good for you.
Your natural lubrication is best though if you produce it. If he pulls himself out and its wet, thats enough lubrication for sperm to travelTravel sickness.
I am on a TTC forum and have heard AMAZING things about pre-seed. As you probably know, saliva and other lubricantsLubricant eye drops on the market (KY, atroglide, etc.) can be harmful to sperm, so if you're TTC, it's best not to use those. Whether or not you have problems w/vaginal dryness, if you're TTC I would definitely recommend trying preseed out. I haven't tried it myself because I keep hoping this is the month so I don't want to spend the money to order it. I have a feeling I'll be purchasing some soon though as I've heard so many success stories from ppl. who've used it.
The longest journey sperm will have will be from the cervix to the fallopian tubes.
No pre-seed is going to get inside your uterus to help the sperm out on the journey there. The sperm in general have to be good swimmersSwimmer's ear Swimmer's ear or they'll never make it, preseed or not.
I am a hugs fan of Pre-Seed. We tried for 7 months and our first month using the Pre-Seed we got our bfp.:)
I don't have extreme vaginal dryness either. It gives the spermies and extra swoosh up there...I think it is great!!! Sometimes even if you aren't "dry" the cm isn't the ideal consistency for the best "swimming" enviorment. They make the Pre-Seed to best mimic the FERTILE mucus, not just wetness, kwim?
Preseed was designed as an alternative for people that have to use KY/Astroglide etc for lubrication.
The lube tends to coat your vaginal walls and not your cervix where it is needed. Even if you put a whole heaping load of it on the tip, as soon as the penis starts pushing thru your walls, it comes off.
There will always be people that say they had great success with it when they very well could've gotten pregnant without it.
I am not saying "dont use it". I'm just saying you can save the money if you arent using lubrication products already.
Have you even ever used it? It just sounds like you just have to be right or something. And what do you mean "even if you put a whole heaping amount on the tip"? You insert it into your vagina, you don't put it on the penis.
Baby4me is right that you put Preseed directly into your vagina using their prefilled applicators, not apply it to the penis. It feels really good to use the extra lube when you're lacking in that department on your own. Heck, even if you don't think you're necessarily "dry" it still feels really nice to use that stuff and have that extra moisture. And, that is precisely what Vicki is saying, it's sperm-friendly lubricant. If someone doesn't need any help in the lubricant department (some women have gobs of their own EWCM), then there's really no point in using it.
baby4me? This was never about who was right or wrong. She was looking for opinions. Mine just has to be slightly different from yours. That doesnt mean I was trying to undermine your opinion. I am not saying you are wrong. Calm down okay. You had great success using it. Thats a valuable opinion.
I am simply trying to state that normal vaginal fluid, if you produce it, is always better. If you arent currently using lubricants than you dont need Pre-seed.
Here is a study direct from them that shows that pre-seed actually slows down sperm 2% MORE than natural lubrication:
Well i'm going to try it just to see if it helps..Idk why everyone makes such a big deal on the cost ..If you can;t afford pre-seed you really should'nt be ttc the cost of raising a baby cost way more then pre seed

hth and GL!

Again, you need so very little lubrication for the sperm to travel.
