CONGRATULATIONS to you. If you got even a faint positive, more than likely, you are prego.
I am hoping this was the lucky month for my husband and I, but only time will tell.
Having ther Merina for me, I bleed 6months not heavy but I bleed. So just be prepared it could take awhile for you body to adjust to it....Some womenWomen's way are different...so depends on our own body...
I'm glad to know I'm semi-normal then! Called my doctor, and she about laughed at me. Apparently your first period after removal is always quite heavy. Now I feel silly!
I called my doctors office, and they said that it's not unusual to have intense cramps after IUD removal. I've always had bad cramping with my periods, but nothing this bad. All I can do is wait it out. The cramps are starting to ease, so hopefully they won't get really bad again.
Hi....thanx so much 4 your concern. I did go to my doctors but apparently they didn't recieve the result 4 the CT Scan. She said it takes a while 2 get them. But she said that I have 2 go n see the specialist to go over the results in about 4 weeks....they are soooo slow over here!!! Wish u all the best with evrythin. Take care!

Hi...sounds like u really might b pregnant:) I no u probably r soooo anxious 2 find out. I'll b crossin my fingers 4 u!!! Wish u da best of luk with evrythin. Take care!
May those who have had them recently be blessed with healthy safe pregnancies,
May those who have taken one but are patiently wanting a positive, receive it shortly
and to those who have not yet taken one, may the first one be the lucky one.
CONGRATS you two!!
I have had slight symptoms of pregnancy and thought I ouvlated last week, but then it almost seemed as if I had a faint sign of a repeat ovulation this week. Is that possible? I guess with PCOS anything is. My friend was freaking me out before taking it, saying the first month after removal is most likely to have twins- HA HA. I beg for a health pregnancy but I dont know if I can handle another set. We have a 4yr old boy and 2x 2yr olds (one of each -one mine the boy and one his a girl).
We'll see soon, I am too scared to test to early... So I am waiting for a good time and not doing anything that will harm my body and remembering to take the prenatal vitamins.
I HOPE NOT FOR U BUT I WANT TWINS A BOY AND A GIRL SO I HAVE ONE OF EACH AND I DONTHAVE TO GO CAN PULL MY HAIR OUT WAIT AGAIN TO FIND OUT IF IM PREGANT OR NOT
I am not quite sure how "real" that is.. I was just told by a friend who is trying to get pregnant and its not working for her. So she has been searching tons of things. And that just happened to be one she mentioned.
I guess research it? I know my friend would be excited to have 2 at a time since her kids are 8 and 1... something is working against them to have kids close together.
Oh hell no! I too have fraternal twins, they were my first ones and I can just say that you don't know what ou are talking about when you say you want twins. LOL! I hope I get pregnant with a single!!!
Twins are just too expensive and all the problems that come with a twins pregnancy.... but since i already have twins by midwife told me that my chances are even higher to have another set. I had a single in the middle so hopefully that will break the cycle. :)
After my terrible experience at the hospital Saturday night, I started spotting Monday afternoon. Again I returned the ER but to a different hospital. This time my hcg level was up. It went from 250 to 738 in two days. That was a very good sign. Had to go in again this morning for another blood test. It was up to 1414. Also another good sign. I think everything will be ok. I am hoping the spotting was just something that was caused from having the transvaginal ultrasound. I am very hopeful that things will turn for the better. Doctor said he is hopeful with the hcg level going up. More updates to follow. Holly
hey girl im very sorry for ur scary experiance but my prayers are with u and i believe everthing will be fine and thats a very goood sign ur hcg level is up sooo good luck with everything

i took a test today is said im not prego, its a few days before my miss period .so maybe i will be, last night was a mess i hit my boyfreinds car he said hes not mad at me but i no he is. this month nothin is going right have ppl dieing and this problem with the car etc it to much to take in maybe next month this ttc is just making this harder i wish i just could get pregant
I'm so frustrated, I have gained about 9lbs since I took out the iud and with trying to get prego (and thinking that I might be) I've been eating more. It's only been about 1 month since removal should I just start exercising and dieting like normal??? or wait and see if I'm actually prego?? I tried talking to hubby about this but he just doesn't see the problem, doesn't understand why I'm so stressed out.
Your experience sounds so scray, but having your HCG go up is a very very good sign. It sounds like everything is working itself out. I spotted for the first couple of months when I got pregnant with my son, imagine that. I was freaking out. But everything was ok... he is a very vibrant 2 yr old now.
And good thing you went to a different hospital, that first you went to sounds like a nightmare.
Congrats... keep us posted!
Well, I think as far as the dieting and exercising, as long as you are moving to a more healthy diet, you can move to that with no problem. The exercising is always encouraged, even during pregnancy. Go for it. Is it too soon for you to take a test? If not, take the test so that you can ease your mind. IF you aren't pregnant, but you are making yourself think you are, that is where the weight gain could be coming from. I say take the home test to confirm it or rule it out. Sometimes when we want it so bad, we make ourselves believe we are and our bodies start playing tricks on us. If you are pregnant, Congratulations... let us know what you find out!!
It's the hormone changes. Your OB probably told you the same thing that mine told me when removing the IUD, so I'm sorry if you've already heard all of this. She told me that I could MAINTAIN my level of exercise, but if there was any chance that I might be pregnant, she didn't want me to INCREASE my level of exercise. She also said no belly exercises. If and when you start your period, you can increase activity at that point. You can diet if it's just eating healthy, because obviously that's nothing but good for your baby. Make sure you're taking prenatal vitamins to supplement anything that you may have cut out. My doctor wanted me on prenatals the entire time that I'm even trying. When my sister had her baby they did some teaching on like nursing and feeding and stuff. They gave us this paper that showed the baby's stomach size, and I kid you not it's the size of a marble. It's absolutely tiny. You don't have to eat a ton more to grow a few week old fetus. Eat what you feel you need, and cut out the rest. I bet you're beautiful even with the extra 9 lbs, so quit worryin! :)
thanks so much!! i have had tests done since then and they were bright positive now:) i couldnt get a doctors appointment until the 24th of this month and i am extremly excited.. i have already been getting some sickness..i will let u know how it goes and good luck to u and your husband!!
hey girls i was due for my period yesterday and (i'm trying to conceive) i took a pregnancy test this morning and it came out negative :( bummer but do you think i could still be pregnant ? like do you think it might be too early to test or am i just totally getting my hopes up ..? oh btw i was on bc for 2 and a half years and had it taken out on june 18th and i got my period exactly 3 weeks after it being removed so this is the second period im due for.
Thanks so much for the encouragement. I guess it really is the inbalance of the hormones and my body just ajusting to being without the iud, because emotionally I feel awful, fat, tried, moody & stressed and for the littlest/stupid things.(like for example I'm so angry with myself because I set my alarm this morning to workout, I heard it, turned it off, but went back to sleep. I have no will power:) Has anyone felt like that after removal?? Or has anyone gained weight after removal???
Yes, my period changed after the IUD removal. I used to have heavy and long period and after the IUD it was short a 2 1/2 days and very light.
Which to me is perfect! :)
I have been feeling VERY moody lately like i want to kill my husband! I had the IUD removed on June 23 and my mood swings barely started about 2-3 weeks ago.
I am the oppisite of you. I lost around 5 lbs since the removal.
Do you ladies feel any different after your IUD removal... I have been feeling like little sharp pain in both of my ovaries. Sometimes even if i move too quickly i would feel them. It is not that painful but i get them very ofter like 3-4 times a day.
It could be that you are ovulating and this is why you feel those pains...I had my Merina take out on June 3rd didnt bleed at all. Started my Period end of June and Concieve first part of July. I am now six weeks and going to the Dr on the 14th...Be positive and just hopefully you time it right...
Yes, that's what i thought too because the pain started right when i started ovulating..... but they haven't gone away and it's been about 3 weeks. :) I will take a pregnancy test next week on Thursday... let;s see what happens but just in case i am not getting my hopes high, it's been only 1 1/2 months since my IUD removal and i know it can take a while. :)
I can tell you that every women is different. Alot of Dr. say that you can concieve right away and some Dr. say you have to wait 3months. I concieve with in 1 month a little over from having my Merina out. It could be different for everyone...I only had 1 period and then concieved right away...Hope you will figure things out and you will have the BFP as well...Keep us posted..thanks
I am with you all the way girl.... I am felt the same mood swings and body changes, even the weight gain. I though my boobs were even swelling. I have been a wreck. I have been trying to be hopeful about everything and keep telling my self it will happen when we are ready and when it is time.
To All:
So the PA who removed the iud told me to either take ovulation tests or pregnancy test every other month or so (or when feeling sympotms). I took a test early this morning post removal 3 weeks and it was neg. Its either too early to tell or I just havent ovulated and its my damn PCOS fighting against me. Maybe I do really have to loose 40 pounds again in order to conceive. Lately I just have felt worthless and exercise- HA, with the kidos we have and the job I do.... its exercise to chase them in the grocery store.
I dont know what to do, was kind of bummed this morning. But my DH said its okay now we can just try harder and practice more. Glad he is enjoying his part and some of mine for that matter (like he minds if my boobs swell) LOL.
I recently got my iud removed (4 days ago) 2 days after removal i got a heavy period. I want to concieve but people are telling me that because I have multiple cists on my ovaries its gonna b hard. is this true? ive never had a problem with falling pregant. apparently the iud caused the cists.
Got my cycle on the 6th (removal was July 10). I'm happy because it is on the schedule I had before the mirena. It is heavier than I remember. I now know that was a lovely case of PMS last month. My poor husband :)
I'm looking forward to TTC this month.
Congrats to all positives and continued good luck to the rest of you all!!!
IF I DONT START MY PEROD TOMM IM GOING TO GO IN FOR A BLOOD TEST TO SEE IF IM PREGO
A LOT OF WOMAN IN MY FAMILY HAVE HAD LOW HGD SO THE HOME TEST DONT WORK WILL IM GOING TO TRY ONE JUST FOR FUN
Gosh it's been forever since my last post... Just an update- I'm 19 wks and we found out yesterday that we have been blessed with a little girl. I was and still am in complete shock. I have two boys so I didn't think it was possible.
I have been reading these posts off and on for the past few weeks. It looks like it helps talking about what your going through with people in a similar situation. I had my mirena iud removed on may 11 of this year, had it in for almost 2 1/2 years after my second son. I spotted for 3 or 4 days after removal and had my first period june 15. During the time I had my iud I never got a period or spotting. And now nothing, no sign of a period, negative pregnancy test last week, and I am so frustrated! I know my body is getting back to normal but my first cycle was on time and now its a waiting game. I have a lot of odds against me but after the year we have had me and my husband figure bringing a third child home will give us that much more to be thankful for. My husband was diagnosed with testical cancer in february this year and underwent surgery and radiation. His doctors told us he still has one good working "baby maker" and he is doing great with no signs of cancer! The bad part is that soon he will have to go through testosterone replacement therapy which can permanently sterilize him. So that's when we decided now or never. At 23 and 24 with two beautiful sons we led a pretty normal life until all of this, but hey we keep going and moving forward. So I'm just anxious I wish I would have my period already or get a positive pregnancy test and know already!
Hello Ladies! I'm new to this site, and as well, I've been following your stories for a little over a week now. TTC is exciting! I had my IUD removed July 27th and had a heavy "period" a couple days later. Since the removal, I have been taking prenatal vitamins and 2 days ago, just started taking Folic Acid pills, as well, to guard against defects when I do become pregnant :) My boyfriend and I are excited, but we try not to talk about it to much...I am going to surprise him when I finally get a pos preg test :) He has one 7y.o. son and I have 2 children; a boy, 6 and and girl, 4. I feel it is time to bring my third child into the world, and what a better time to do it than now, and with my man, who is so supportive in everything I do.
Just one question: Do you have to get a period after removal before you can become pregnant?
Hey everyone, I was reading this forum, and much like most of you, I myself am in the same boat. I had my mirena IUD removed 7/09/09. I had my period like normal on 7/11/09 and it was the normal 5 day flow. But we are TTC as well, and I should have started today and there is no sign of AF in sight. So I am not for sure what exactly happens to your body post mirena, I think it is all out of whack and has to regulate. Not sure on how long it takes neither. I just wish it would hurry
I did not really have a period after my mirena. I did not have one since Feb of 2006. So when my iud came out i had no clue when my cycle was so i could monitor when i was ovulating. We tried for the month to use ovulation tests. They got way to expensive. One night we got away from the kids and went and had a few drinks. A few weeks later I just figured I would take a test just to see. I got a negative. Might I also mention that I became a pregnancy test junkie. I took another six tests over the next few days and finally got a positive. So to answer your question no you do not have to have a period. I did not. Good luck to you and your husband trying to conceive.
Something that I forgot to mention is that IUD was removed on June 14th and got my BFP on July 24th. It didnt take long at all. Hopefully you and everyone else will have the same luck.
My boobs were freaking killing me and I was tired all the time. Even today I still have no other symptoms. Thank Goodness!!! I am still waiting for the morning sickness to kick in but luckily my husband has been taking the brunt of that. LOL!! Other than that I really didnt know. I was kind of in shock when I saw that faint line on the pregnancy test.
Ty for the info landonNhaileighsmom. I never really got a reg period on the Mirena....maybe just some spotting here and there..very seldom. I had no problems at all with it either, unlike some I have read about on here. I actually recommend it to my friends searching for a stress free, reliable birth control method. :) After my 3rd child is born, I even plan to hop back on the IUD until were ready to discuss our "second" child together..which would be "our" fifth child-if you know what I mean when I speak in the blended family language. :D
Anywho, I have never even thought of Ovulation predictors/tests..to it seems like a confusing watse of time and money. I picked one up at the store and was reading the instructions on the back of the box and it sounded soo confusing..and since my periods are not regualted anyways, it would be pointless for me. To each their own, I guess :)
So, yes, I have been post-IUD now for 12 days now..and I've been preparing my body for a oregnancy, so hopefully we will get blessed within a matter of time. However, since my boyfriend and I do not live together as of yet (we plan to marry next August), it is hard to "practice" on a reg basis :) It's a plus and a negative in my book, but in all due time! :) We bought a baby name book today at the mall and I cannot wait to cuddle together and devour all the beautiful baby names to our pleasure..... :}
So heres my issue....I had my mirena removed June 18th then ovulated on day 14 and got my period on July 16th....exactly 28 days later. But i am not at day 23 of my next cycle and still have had zero signs of ovulation??? Whats the deal? Kinda frusterating :(
Maybe i just havent noticed the ovulation? Or is my next cycle just gona be REALLY long?? I just thought that since my first cycle was 28 days my secon woul be as well?? I've never had a problem getting pregant and know i feel like i ont even know my own body....any of you have the same issue??
About ovulation predictor tests... I thought they were a waste at first, too. But most packs of ovulation tests come in like a pack of 30 (one for every day that month). Once you get that positive ovulation test, you know that you're fertile. You're only able to conceive for like 2 days I think it is after you ovulate. That's not a big window. So if you miss having sex for a week and you were ovulating, you're screwed for a month. Sperm can live for up to 72 hours in perfect conditions, and usually only 24ish hours. If you take the ovulation tests, and you're ovulating, you know you need to have sex until your ovulation tests go negative. Most ovulation tests expire 30 days from when you open the pouch, so they aren't meant to last longer than a single cycle. If you decide to try them (which my OB recommended), I'd suggest that you try the digital ones that say "yes" or "no" or "ovulating" or whatever (I think it's clear blue). I feel like all I do anymore is pee on sticks.
So I know that no one that's asking wants to hear this (because I didn't want to hear it either):
You're not going to have perfect cycles for up to 3 months. Some don't even get their first period for 3 months. It depends on how quickly your body decides to bounce back. A few of us get lucky, and the rest of us get to wait. It took me like 45 days post removal to have a period, and it was the heaviest period of my life. I doubt my next cycle will be regular. This is where ovulation kits come it, because you're still gonna ovulate at some point during that cycle
You know what? You just up the ovulation predictor test instructions perfectly, lol. Just by reading the back of a box myself, I was so confused, but having someone else explain them, is better for someone who may not know what they're doing, lol. Maybe I'll give in and try them..the digital ones. The only issue I have with that is, I don't see my boyfriend on a regular basis to "practice", lol. If I happen to be ovulating, idk if he'll be able to stop by! He raises his 7 y.o. son on his own and works second shift-plus we live 15 apart from each other. So it's kinda like a spur of the moment thing, where he stops by late after his shift ends and we um....yeah, before he heads home or on our days off, if we can get a couple hours alone. :P But I'd love to give it a try.
To airforce_wife:
I got my Mirena removed on July 27th also! lol. I know both of our circumstances are very different, but I just thought that was cool :) I wish I could explain the heaviness......is it your mind playing a trick on you?
It will happen... I know its frustrating, I was overly frustrated! But if you miss your period, test then... thats the most accurate time. Keep us informed... Im keeping my fingers crossed for you!
WOW!!! Congratulations!! I know you were getting frustrated with the wait but I am so happy for you. How long has it been since you got your iud removed? I dont think it has been very long has it. Well good luck at the doctor tomorrow. I will also be at the doctor. They are doing another ultrasound to rule out a tubular pregnancy. Gosh have I been so worried this whole weekend on top of being in a lot of pain. I am hoping that everything will be alright. Keep us updated about the doctor visit. Holly
Congrats... So you were 8wks post iud removal? GL with the pregnancy!!
All,
Can those who are pregnant post how many weeks it was from removal till a BFP? I am just curious what the ranges are. My hubby got me excited to take a test this weekend and it was a BFN, so I am not so excited about that- he is to keep practicing.
I almost wonder if I am going to have to go on a work out binge again and loos lots of weight to get pregers again. Any thoughts? I dont know if I have ovulated, I think I have.. but not quite sure. The DH and I just keep trying ever 3-4 days to ensure there is always sperm to hit that window since they have the ability to live up to 5 days.
Thank you... I am about 10weeks since removal of the mirena. I finally had a cycle on the 16th of July.. and I am due for my next cycle on the 13th of this month... so next week. I have been feeling very bloated, my back was hurting, and my breasts were getting sore, so I decided to take a test early, and it very clearly said PREGNANT! We were so excited... I will be at the doctors to confirm it, but I spoke to my friend who is an OB and she said if the test picked it up, more than likely, its a YES!!
Well not just our bodies, but our circumstances as well-didn't you say that you were not in a hurry to get pregnant right away...and ur still nursing? :) Wouldn't it be funny if we both got pregnant around the same time? lol
I'm kinda wondering if I will have a period be4 I conceive. I hope mine is a miracle story w/out a period as well! lol. Tmrw I will be 2 weeks exactly post-mirena. Getting pretty close to "the range"!
still no period thank god i test yestday it said no but it was at night so after drinking stuff allday im going to wait to tomm and test again i hope it say yes i do pl god and good luck to u all
I am new to this site and have really enjoyed reading through your journeys, Congrats to those who are already prego, good luck and have fun to those trying. I had my paraguard (copper) IUD put in March of 2004 after the birth of my daughter. I just had it removed on 8/6. I usually run a typical 28 day cycle and based on what I have read, since the first day of my last period was July 25th my peak firtility would have been 8/5 - 8/10... being that I was in quite a bit of pain and not feeling very nice on Thursday I figured I would give my body a little break and wait until Friday to give it a shot. Not to give TMI, but I we may have tried on Saturday and Sunday as well, LOL. I am not sure that we will be sucsessful during this first month because all of my dates lined up really tight, but my OB did tell me that pregnancy right away may not happen. She was pretty adimant that I should allow my uterus 1 full cycle to heal from the irritation of having the IUD in so that the egg would have a nice clean surface to attach to.
i stopped nursing a week ago i did it for almost 5 months its just so tireding nursing all the time he is becoming more active and eating baby food so i figure he would be ok on baby food and formula yea it would be awesome if we got pregnant at the same time i got it removed on july 27th i had my first AF after removal was july 29th bleed until aug 2nd today aug 10th i started AF again do you know if this my first real cycle since removal? so i can know if im getting back to normal
These past few days I have had AF visiting. Good Times!
I just did my calculations for ovulation. As it turns out, my husband and I are going to be visiting the place we got married (7 years ago) for a few days during my ovulation. The romantic in me hopes I can conceive while we are there. This will be the first child for us and I would love to be able to say we conceived he/she at the place we were married. Don't worry...it's not a church! ha.
I had my IUD put in in 2005 and one year ago i had it took out and still a im not gettin a BFP i just dont know what to do any more does anyone have any advice
Well see, that's the thing about the first periods after removal....when we first bleed after removal, is it really considered a period? or is it just buildup..or "break-through" bleeding...or irritation? I've read different things about this, so I really don't know if it's a real AF or not.
I documented every day since the removal on the 27th, and I bled the 28th (after intercourse) and until the 30th...and then like a brownish discharge followed that (I believe it was the bleeding tapering off) for 2 or 3 days after that. So could that be considered AF? Heck if I know! I would hope so....I read another post that someone posted about having brown discharge, too..after bleeding after removal..but hmm...I really wonder. Sorry if that's TMI, but were all women in the same boat here and I don't think any of us should be embarassed about talking about our body functions, lol, bc were all after one thing on this site! LOL :}
Since u and I are 2 weeks post-removal exactly today, I would still give it a couple weeks to see if we get another AF? If it comes sooner than expected, than it has to be a true AF. Ya think?
I would call your doctor and ask. All I know that everyone's body is different and maybe yours is just taking a little longer than usual to get back to normal? Are you having regular periods? Call your doctor. He/she might recommend some tests or idk...
I had my Mirena removed on 1/20 of this year & we too are not getting a BFP. I'm still not reular on my cycles, but then again, I never was before Mirena either. I'd like to know more about your situation because I'm the only other one posting here who is more than a few months post-removal.
Here are some questions that may help us help you:
*What was the date of your removal?
*Do you have any biological children or have you ever been pregnant in the past?
*Are your cycles normal (aka 28 days in length)?
*Are you using any method of ovulation detection?
*How often are you & your partner ttc?
*Are you considering fertility treatments of any kind?
So I am almost 4 weeks post removal and not even a period or nothing- I spotted kind of heavy after removal and nothing since. Had a few signs of pregnancy but no BFPs yet.
I am hopeful and hoping for this frustration with my husband will go away- I am still off and on moody... maybe it will pay off in the end if I am prego and its due to new hormones not missing the ones I had on Mirena. Damn female issues.
My mom thinks we are crazy and its too early in our marriage to have a baby. But hell with the PCOS and no cycle and post removal my chances arent looking good for us anywho.
hey thanks for ur concern and yea my appointment was tomorrow but i cancielled cuz i took a test an no positive a lil disappointed but hey ill keep tryin i start my period like around the 28 so hopefully it doesnt start if it doesnt im going to test again ....i hope i am but all i can do is wait soo ill keep u up to date
I am having my IUD removed in a week or so and I've heard rumors that you have to wait 3 months to get prego. Anyone else heard this? I don't want to wait that long. I want to prego as soon as I can!! Any advice would be helpful.
Also, how do I tell when is the best time to conceive?
i would start taking prenatal vitamins, that is what they recommended for me to do. because you have no lining in your uterus to support a pregnancy. i have heard of women getting pregnant as soon as they had it removed and were healthy pregnancies. i think it just depends. I myself had mine removed 7/09/09 and we have been trying to preggo since.
as far as when is the best time is when you ovulate. which every woman is different on that, you can chart with your temp, cervical mucus, and cervical position to tell when you are ovulating. your CM should be ewcm.
SOme doctors will tell you that, my doctor did not. She said we could try right away. It took 6 1/2 weeks to get my first period and my period is due on the 13th... but I got a positive test. So, it depends on your body. Guess I went back to normal pretty quickly... but waiiting for the first AF was very very frustrating
Well this is my second period since removal and I feel like my body won't stop bleeding I can't take it anymore I just want to be normal again my son is 5 months now I have been bleeding since he was born supposedly it was normal I just want to know what's really normal? I feel like I have the cleanest uterus what's a girl? to do no that wasent tmi this website let's you say the tmi stuff and all the gross stuff women go through stuff you can't talk to your husband about I feel like were all friends here
well maybe you will get one soon I got one I'm sure yours is around the corner or maybe you will get lucky and not get it who knows I just want all these hormones to get back to normal
My husband is getting shipped out on december 1st he will be gone for a year so I have a few more months so make a baby but if it doesn't happen I have to wait tell he comes back
My name is Brittney, Im 23yrs old, Me and My Fiance have a beautiful 5yr old daughter named Kadence..I had her when I was 17yrs old which was unexpected but am very happy to have her in my life..She is my entire world...Now me and my Fiance are trying to conceive which is scaring me cause I just dont feel its gonna happen. We tried right after I got it removed 7mths ago and I didnt conceive, so I just kinda held off on it...but now 7mths later I am even more thrilled all over again about wanting another baby im scared for disappointment at the end of the month...Because now Im putting all my emotions into it and really wishing it will come true but scared to see a negative test..Idk what are the chances of getting pregnant after having the IUD out for 7mths now...I hope its possible..I mean I have been having alot of symptoms and signs...Ive been nauseated..and ive been getting headaches and feeling dizzy,..I seem to eat and knowing i should be full I tend to still be hungry for some reason...I have been major moody, i mean reallllly moody its crazy...And i know alot of this could be due to getting period soon or something but Idk i just want to know if its possible it could be pregnancy?
Ater 7 months, you should be right on schedule. Were you very normal before the IUD??? Thats a good sign of how your body will react once the IUD is out. All of those symptoms you mentioned could definitely be pregnancy, but like you said, they can also be your period. Do you know when you should be ovulating?? If you do, then you know thats when you need to maximize sex... if you don't, go and get an OPK and start watching for ovulation. You are young, the IUD has been out for a long time, so you should conceive.
I know its hard to do but you have to try and not stress yourself out. That can make it hard to conceive.
I have been watching this forum for a while now so I thought I would share my story now that I am actively TTC. I had my Mirena out on June 4th, two days after my sons 2nd birthday. I spotted a little that day and had a period on June 25. Me and my DH didn't try during July because I wanted to make sure my body was back to normal. I never had a period while on Mirena except for when I first got it in I bled for about a week. My last period started on July 22. My cycles are 27 days. I ovulated on the 3rd and 4th. We did the BD everyday from the Saturday before until Thurday. So we are hoping for a BFP. I have been having crazy realistic memorable dreams the last few nights and forgetting everything. I did both of these with my first pregnancy. I took a test this morning knowing it was a waste because it is to early but I just couldn't help it. My first pregnancy was a surprise I was on BCP. But it has been the best surprise I have ever had. Well Baby Dust to all! I will keep yall updated!
june 12 i got the iud out and june 14 i start af and june 18 it stoped it was just like a period and 28 day later on july 12 i had very light bleed and july13 af started july 15 it stoped and i should have started aug 9 and nothing i took a test on the 9th and nothing i took a test today any nothing. what dose this meen i no im not test too soon my period should have been here 3days ago i dont no what to do. i dont no if i not test right or something or after 3 month my period is just ****** up. my DR TOLD ME AFTER 3 MONTH I WOULD BE ALL GOOD i have been trying and trying not to stress about it. i have never miss a period not even with im stressed out. i call the dr wait for then to call me back i want to do a blood test. my mom did not no she was pregant for 3 month with me she was bleeding every month and when she test it said she was not to she was 3 month i dont want the same thing to happen to me
HAS THIS HAPPEN TO ANYONE ....after 3 month to have ur period missed up
Well..all I can do now is take my prenatal v and my folic acid...and wait. Today I am 13 days post-IUD and just waiting to see if I get a period. My man and I haven't "tried" since Saturday. I kind of hate the way things are, but what can you do? LOL. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, huh? Ha. I hope to see him tonight and/or tomorrow..those are his days off, and I'm home on paid vacay for the week.
I also looked at Ovulation tests @ Walmart yesterday and I almost fainted...$26-$28 bucks for a box? Eh... I don't know about that.
To Brittney:
I can't imagine being 7 months post removal and still no baby! Just keep trying, and take another test in a week or so. :) GL! I also got pregnant with my first born at 17. I wasn't on birth control, and me and my son's dad were together almost everyday..so I can understand why it was so easy to conceive, even though it was unplanned. I love the name Kadence. If we have a girl, her name will be Kadence Rosemary. (Rosemary is after his mom). GL to all! Now it's just a waiting game.
yes it happened to me with my son i found out last time i was a pregnant at 2 months i had a normal period then the next month i felt weird and took a test it said i was i wouldnt stress i would wait a few more weeks for a period if not test again your body is just getting back to normal
thank u for getting back to me, im sick of trying dont get me wrong i like all the sex but it feeling more like work then fun now and it suck feeling like that. i just hope not having my period meen i haveing a baby. i called the dr to go in for a blood test they said we go a **** test i told then i want a blodd test they said they will have to call me back now waiting
well if this helps it took me 3 years to conceive my first but it finally happened i got my miracle baby if you feel pregnant i would get a blood test because of how your mom was you would hate to be pregnant and not get the proper care for the baby atleast it would give you piece of mind dont think of sex as a chore or work enjoy it get new positions or go out for a romantic night just you two you have to be relaxed and when you have sex just relax and enjoy it just make sure the positions require you laying down so the sperm can go in your cervix you can put a pillow underneath your butt so the sperm will stay in i dont know if you have ever checked the location of your cervix maybe when he orgasms he is over shooting the cervix you have to be aware of your body but number one you have to know when you are ovulating maybe something will work idk just trying to help
everyone out there that hasent conceived just keep trying one day that little baby will be there in your life everything in life happens for a reason and when it is supposed to good or bad things just gotta stay positvie and work through everything be patient
hey thank i have tryed that but i dont no when im ovulation i was okp and the line told me i was ovulation for a week so we did it all week and now no peroid so i hope it worked and yes that y i still wait for the dr to call back i talk to some one they want me to pess for then i fight with then for a blood test right now i just want to no
dont get me wrong it good sex my DR told me to test around 4pm everyday that what time he get home then i run right to the room that y it feel that way i have make some nice dinner and i have try new **** but can us anything fun, he is more baby crazzy then iam he make me stree over it
wow i have never heard of any guy being more baby crazy then the girl. Well if its to much on your body i would take it easy for alittle bit tell your man im not a machine i would just hate for you to be to sore because pregnancy take a toll on your body but i think you should just try new things. Plan a romantic evening or try something different to spice things up. I dont know if you have n e other kids fix him dinner maybe he can give you a massage. I would just make sure to take the prenatal vitamins and try to get that blood test. Some researchers believe that having an orgasm during sex increases your chances of getting pregnant. For women, the spasmic movements of orgasm will help pull the sperm into the uterus and for men a better orgasm may increase the man’s sperm count. Make sure you avoid vaginal sprays and scented tampons, artificial lubricants, and douching. Make love in the early morning or afternoon. Sperm levels are often highest in the mornings.
I am new to this site..i have had my iud for 3 years now and recently got married and we want another baby..Our son is 3, but i have heard from different people that the removal process is very painful..if so i don't want to go alone...And what has everyone been on a time frame conceiving after removal? Thank So much...
I had my mirena removed last month and it was not painful at all. she told me take a deep breath and exhale and i felt a little but not painful. the inserting of it was horrible.
i am 4 weeks past removal and we are too ttc
The removal process should not hurt at all, if it does, ask for someone else. With mine, I had no clue it was even out until my dr said all done. Its pretty simple.
Conceiving varies. Some people conceive rt away with no period, others take a cycle or two.. just depends on your body.
i will try to do what u said, this will be own frist baby ,after fight with the DR about coming in for a test they said they want to talk to me before they will do a test they are acting like im 12 and i dont no anything but i will be going in at 1030 i will let u no what they say when i get home tomm it mint be th before i get back to u because i going to the races in nh tomm im not race my man is i hope we win. and i hope i with child my dr office is in th er so i mite no what the test say before the day is over i hope they get back to me asap because i want to no
ok well i hope you get preggo to because the first is so awesome because you never know what to expect i want to know its such an exciting expierence you have fun at the races i hope you win to it would be a good day
It is so incredible how common yet so crazy different everyone's storys are.
I have a DH that is baby crazy and more excited about having one then I am most days. I also am trying not to stress about it, but I am concerned with my PCOS, weight being what it was before I started loosing weight and the accidently got pregnant with my one and only son who is now two. I am too affraid that I may have to loose all that weight again just to conceive and then gain it all back again? Since when does that sound exciting- I have to work, take care of the kids we have now and work out if we want another? SO not fair, no wonder the DH is enjoying things.
I'd like to just be pregnant and have it all done and over with so there is no stress to work out and no stress to ttc and no stress of what I look like(oh I forgot, right now that hasnt been on my mind anyway). I think I am over working my self- a full time job, plus taking a 4yr old and 2 toddlers to and from day care and daily house chores. My DH tries, but man that mommy role is tough shoes to fill. My DH size 13 feet cant fit in to my equvalent to a boys size 6 shoes.
? Should I keep track of our times we TTC?
I would like to do a VBAC and I am worried about actual conception date vs due date.
I was 6days late with my son and was enduced which caused a c-section. Since I have PCOS and havent been regular in over 3 years should I keep close tabs on my body?
I take the prenatal pills every night, the DH and I get to practice 2-3x a week, but it is usually at night after a long day. For some reason mornings dont work for us(not just in the timing sence- odd huh?)
I here ya there girl on the part where no matter how hard your man tries he could never do as good job as you do some times when you have kids you feel like your working 3 jobs you have your regular job you have to take care of the kids then keep the house clean and keep your man happy it feels like you can't get a break when you ask for 5 mins of alone time to clear your head everyone gets mad I think you should take a personal day if you can afford to get away with your hectic schdule and all take your mom or friend and get a massage or pedicure etc or sleep in on the weekend let the husband take care of the kids for a few hours sleep is very important if you don't get enough sleep it can make you gain weight and when your rested you will have more energy to do other things like say make a baby I don't know anything about pcos so I can't really give advice
Hi....how r u doin? I'm doin ok. On da ct scan I had done they found a cyst on my kidney. I still havnt gotten my period 4 this month either. I've been having a lot of cramping 2! I had a couple of pregnancy test at da doctors but they were negative. Da last one was about 3 weeks ago. I don't want 2 take another test n b disapointed:-(
I hope u have a positive test....gud luk ok!!!
Hi....from wut I no, da first bleeding u get after da removal is not your period. I got mines removed on May 12 n started bleeding da next day 4 a few days. Then had my first period on June 16 that lasted 5 days. I didn't get any period in July. So now I'm waiting 2 c if I get it this month.....hoping I won't but we'll c. Gud luk 2 u n evry1 else!!!
Good Morning ladies..how is everyone? I was updating myself on everyone's entry and I have a couple questions..mind you, I'm still new to this site..lol...
What is PCOS? And what is DH (desperate husband? lol)
Caralea:
I think it's a great idea to just jot down the days that you and your husband TTC. Since I had my IUD removed Jul 27th..I've kept track of when I bled..when I started prenatal vitamins..folic acid pills..and also, making love :) It's kind of like a pregnancy journal I should say :) It will be something I can fall back on when that BFP comes! Although not every day will have a "journal entry", it is still nice to keep a diary/journal of your road to pregnancy! Does that help? :)
Today I will see my man..and surely you all know what will come after we spend the day together :D I can't wait!
Thanks for the info. I'm wondering if I will get a period this month then..closer to the end of the month? Hmmm.... I never had a period while on the Mirena, just occasional spotting-and I had the Mirena for about a year and a half. I had an abnormal pap which led to CIN2 (2nd stage cervical dysplasia). When I discussed options w/ my doc for removing the abnormal cells on my cervix, I chose the LEEP procedure, which required the removal of my IUD before the procedure was done. However, when I went in to have the procedure done..the doctor could not find my strings! She asked me if I would be able to try, so I went into the bathroom..and felt around, and I couldn't find them either.
SO..I had to come back the next day and have it surgically removed (while knocked out, thank god)...and have the procedure done...and then have another IUD re-inserted. It turns out that the wires had been wrapped around themselves and were bunched up in my cervical canal. !! All of this was back in December 2008.
I'm not sure if removal, and immediate re-insertion of a new IUD affects anything or not..considering I had that removed 6 months later, which was July 27th, on my 6 month Follow-up to the LEEP procedure. BTW, I tested Negative for cancer of the cervix after I got my results back! :)
The only thing is......I had 10% of my cervix removed during that procedure.which I was told shouldn't affect my fertility..however, when I do become pregnant, I would have to be monitored more closely just to be sure things are going well. I was told that I still have a lot of cervix and I should not have a problem conceiving. It still worries me, though :( My boyfriend told me that he would love me no matter what; baby or no baby. I'm so thankful for him....but I really want a third child! I'd love to give him a girl :)
Anyways, sorry I typed up a novel. lol. Has anyone else had abnormal paps, or a similar situation to mine?
i cant wait to find out if iam i hope they just say yes i will get backto u guys as soon as i can ,
baby-3
that not going to make thing hard for u to have a baby right and i no it hard to test and it say no u no but i would try maybe it will be a good thing it mite me a yes
So I'm about 12 weeks post mirena and have had 2 periods. I usually was about 29-31 day cycles normally but since mirena was about 33 days. My last period was July 15th so we will see if I don't get it this week! I hope not. If that is the case it only took about 3 months. Wish me luck girls!!
Really cool story....my best friend called me yesterday and I had just had a dream that she was pregnant....turns out that was the reason why she was calling me!! She had just got her positive the night before!! So hopefully her luck will bring luck to all of us!! Take care!
Wow, it's cool to know there are other women trying for their third baby. :} I think ppl believe I'm nuts, but I love children and my boyfriend and I want a big family.
Yes airforce_mom it's very scary..I'm just glad I am fortunate enough to get medical care whereas many others don't :{
Good luck mandyjune!! hope its a BFP.
Thanks for the luck wantbaby3!! Maybe that was a sign for you!
I was diagnosed with HPV back in 1997. I had several laser removal treatments on/in my cervix. I was 16 at the time so I honestly can't remember more details to tell you other than that.
Since then, I have carried 2 babies almost to full term status. My daughter was born at 35 1/2 wks in January 2000 and my son was born at 36 1/2 weeks in August of 2006. I had no complications with my daughter so her early birth is still a bit perplexing. With my son I had some complications due to high stress levels & I almost lost him twice. The first time, I was about 12-14 weeks when I experienced some bleeding which included clots. The ER doctor told me that there was nothing they could do & to follow-up with my OB. She told me that it was most likely...and I have to pause for this one...IMPLANTATION BLEEDING. Wtf? I changed OBs after that and (this is not a lie) three months later she closed her practice due to multiple malpractice law suites.
Loved, loved, loved my new OB!! Totally young & handsome. Excellent bedside manner, warm hands, always took time to ask how I was feeling emotionally, showed off pics of his wife & kiddos on his PDA, and the 1st visit included a ten minute consulation with me & Baby Daddy in his office. We got a five page overveiw of his life & medical history. Sadly for me, he moved to Florida last year to take a position at a medical college. :-(
Anyways; moving on: At 31 weeks I went into active premature labor which quickly dialated me to 3 3/4 inches. The ER doctors stopped the contractions for the most part but were forced to realease me after 1 night because I stopped dialating further. Due to my weakened cervix I was told that even on strict bed rest I was not expected to carry the baby past another week. I was told to call the hospital immediately when the contractions became more regular or if my water broke so they could order a Care Flight helicopter to come and get the baby. I was told that he'd have to be transported immediately to a Children's Hospital in Dallas...45 mins away. After that kind of news, I just had to believe that God knew what was best & would protect my son. And he did. :-) I stopped taking the pills they gave me to control the contractions after just a few days because they made me too sick to eat. I shopped, cooked, cleaned, moved furniture, and cared for my 6 year-old every single day for the next 5 weeks.
With that being said, I had an abnormal pap while I was pregnant, but they weren't able to treat me due to the pregnancy. So, 8 weeks after my son was born I had a cryo treatment performed. This was after my Mirena was put in btw. My doctor said that the treatment would not affect the Mirena in any way. I guess he was right since I never experienced any problems behind it.
HERE'S THE IMPORTANT PART:
I was cautioned by my doctor that I was damaging my cervix by having the treatment just the same as if I were sawing on the leg of a table. Even though the table may stand for awhile, eventually (if you keep sawing on the legs) the table will fall. He said this is especially true if you try to sit on the table regardless of whether you continue to saw or not. He said I may not ever carry a child to term & would be unlikely to carry another child as far as I did my other two.
Am I worried? A little. But I have faith that everything will turn out just fine. My son was a miracle to me and I know that God will take care of any other child he may choose to give me. God will take care of you & yours as well. :-)
I also had the leep done and my doc told me if I ever wanted a baby it might be hard for me! And also if I Did get pregnant I might not be able to carry it full term. But a year later I found out I was pregnant and I was also on the pill so it was not planned. My pregnancy was great no problems at all carried full term and he is 2 now and I want another one. So dont be worried I think every thing will be ok
I do not have PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) but I happened to have 3 friends that have it. I never even heard of it till these ladies were diagnosed. They all have had trouble getting pregnant but 2 were successful (so far). One got pregnant after 6 months of old fashioned trying. One required In Vitro. One is currently taking Metformin and started a round of Clomid for this cycle. She is getting ultrasounds to ensure she is ovulating because the over the counter fertility tests are not accurate for people with PCOS.
One thing I wanted to say (because it is bugging me) is that sometimes the issues are with the MEN. As women, we tend to take on all of the pressure of getting pregnant. The reality is that the men could have bad swimmers or few swimmers. They need to have a good diet, drink lots of water, and give up funky habits like smoking, drinking, etc. Just a thought!
Also, VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) is totally possible. The midwives I see are more supportive about that idea than a typical OB. I am not a fan of traditional medicine because they tend to make birth very clinical. I think they forget that a woman's body is built to birth. To each their own though.
Here is a good site about VBAC http://www.vbac.com/
So, do either of you know whether the laser treatment that I had done when I was a teenager is the same as LEEP? It sure seems like it based on what I've read.
I wonder how much of my cervix is left after having had that done at least twice & the cryo freezing treatment once...
Hi Im new to this and was wondering if anyone had any answers or advice to give me. I had my iud removed July 9th and got AF on July 11th that lasted about 5 days. Ive been TTC since removal... I got a positive Ovulation test on July 30th... And with a reg 28 day flow wouold have been due for AF on Aug 8th and I still have not started... Also I have been feeling very tired, had headaches, backaches, have been going to the bathroom more and my breasts have been very sore, but I have taken about 10 tests over the last 2 weeks cuz I was sure I ws preggo but they have all been neg. My last oe I have taken was today and it was also a neg. Any suggestions? Me and a friend r both going through the same thing and we r very confused.....
I think the laser is differant from the leep but not totaly sure! I also had the laser treament I went through hell when all that was going on. But since then I have had no troubles
The only advise i would say is that may be to early to test still. Another thing is that since you had IUD removed on July 9 and started AF you say on July 11 it could be your period or could not be. When are you to start your period again in Aug? I would say if you can hold off and wait tell the week of the 27th of Aug and if not AF then try the pregnancy test again...I had to wait one cycle for me to concieve. I did bleed at all after the IUD. When I got AF then i counted 14days after my first period and then tried like hell to have sex off on thru the week. Well guess what it worked for me..Again every women is different and every womens body is also different...
I would have to agree I am very impatient as well..When us women want answers we want them yesterday not 1 week later or so.... Just be patient it will happen...Are you taking Prenatal Vitiams yet? take them if you have not yet...I started the day I got my Merina removed...
I had my mirena took out on July 9,2009. I have had one period and i went 7 days then in one week i spotted for 3 days. I went to the doc. and they told me i was not pregant. Well i was post to start my period on the 8 of aug. and i am 3 days late so i went and took another test and it was negative. I feel like i am pregant cause i get in a car i get sick, and my boobs hurt, could that just be the hormomns from the mirena?
Hi, it's been a while since my last post My period is due on the 23rd of this month, and a couple of weeks ago I was tried, stressed, gained about 9 lbs and very moody (my poor husband..LOL) But this week it's been opposite I'm more emotional silly things make me cry and if I gave my kids time-out during the day at night I'll remember and cry. I have been crying because my clothes are starting to fit tight:( But I have decided to do something about that, since Monday I have been getting on the treadmill and walking for about 40mins.:) But back to my other issue we have been ttc like crazy almost everyother day 2-3 time a day:) :) Would it be too soon for me to test by the end of this week or should I just wait for my AF. the anticipation and waiting wanting to know if it's going to happen is killing me... I have an 8yr daugther and a 4yr old son and they came to me with their most serious little faces and said "Mom we want another brother or sister so can you get pregnant fast.....PLEASEEEEE" If they only knew......
Ok this is my first time on here. I had my IUD taken out on 5/01/09 three weeks later(5/22) to the day i started and it lasted 5-7 days. Four weeks later(6/19) I started again, 5-7 days. So I expected to start four weeks later, but it came two days early(7/15) no big deal 5-7 days. I went three weeks this last time(8/7), really weird. I've been really tired since Thursday but I work really early and I don't get to bed when I should. I have been really moody but that could be because of my period. I have not been this early before. Also I remember how I felt when I was ovulating when my son was conceived. I don't think that I have ovulated since I had the IUD out. I'm just confused and if any one has some advice, I would love to hear it. thank you.
My body is so out of wack since I have had my iud removed. I got my first period on the 5th of this month for only 2 days and since then I have been feeling not right. head aches every day, tired, and a little moody! Has any body felt this way after removal? I no Im not pregnant so is it just my hormones trying to get back to normal??? I really hate this!!!!
Hi...wow u hav been through a lot....mirena surgically removed sounds scarey! I don't blame u 4 being sooo anxious. Yeah I 2 didn't get any AF while on da mirena. From wut I heard sumtimes it takes longer 4 sum 2 get bak 2 normal. I no that can suk...especially if u hav all da pregnancy symptoms. We r also trying 4 baby # 3....we have 2 boys...12 n 6 years old. This time I really want a girl same as u. I've always wanted a girl...so hopefully this time!!!!
I really hope u get a BFP soon!!! Wish u da best of luk!!! Keep me posted!
Take care!
Hi ladies I no how u guys feel. I'm in da same boat. It's da hormones playing tricks on u. I went through da same thing! Da bleeding u get after removal is not your period. It can take a while 4 sum 2 get bak 2 normal. I had mines removed on May 12 n started bleeding da next day 4 a few days. Then got my period on June 16-20. Didn't get any period in July...now waiting 2 c wut happens this month. So don't stress out it will get bak 2 normal. Best of luk 2 both of u n evry1 else TTC!!!!
Well, the LEEP procedure is where they take an electrically heated wire, and kinda shear off the abnormal cells in the cervix. The laser sounds different? The only options open to me was Cryo, which is freezing off the abnormal cells...which I was told wasnt very successful sometimes, bc some spots might be missed..and i didnt like the thought of ceervix being froze and unfroze...weird! The LEEP didnt sound any better, but thats what I went with, bc thats what my gyno recommended, and I trust her. She's awesome.
Anyways, I was so scared to get the procedure done while awake, bc pain down there doesnt sound fascinating...having ur organs burned off, jk. I got lucky when I had to have my IUD surgically removed bc I was put to sleep!
I don't think I was ever told that I would have problems getting pregnant...my gyno told me that there were many girls who had this done that got pregnant with no problem..and since she told me i still have a lot of cervix left, I found that comforting. 10% doesn't sound like a lot.....does it? But idk how big our cervixes are, and what ten percent really is in that matter. Possibility of miscarriage scares me....or not carrying a baby to term...but I'm trying not to worry about it.
the only thing i was told was that i would be monitored more frequently than a normal pregnancy since i had the LEEP done.. However, I'm just glad my 6 month follow up pap on July 27th turned out to be negative for cancer of the cervix. i was soo relieved.
Hey girls! Just thought I would give you my opinion on this as well. I had mine removed on May 20th and I too am waiting to see if I'm preggo. Hopefully I will find out in the next few days. When you have the merina removed your hormones are all over the place. Usually the bleeding you have right after could NOT be your AF. It's just your body adjusting to the removal. Also you cycles take a while to regulate. Although, some get pregnant right away most of us don't. You can really feel all the symtoms of early pregnancy but it's just your AF coming. My first cycle was 28 days apart then the second was 33 days apart. Now I'm on day 30 and just waiting to see if this was my month or not. :) Hope this helps. It really is annoying waiting to see if the AF is coming. Plus taking all thoses darn tests! UUGGG! It's driving me nuts I know. :) I just want to know already. Good luck to you both!
hey my blood test came back im not prego i pissed i was thinking after 3 month of have a period on time that i would be fine but i guss i was wrong i pissed. how the **** am i going to have kids if my body want stop playing games on me. im sick of it. i have done everything i need to do and no baby. sorry im just pissed
to all the women out there who are pregnant or when you become pregnant you have problems carrying a baby to full term there is a test you can take to see if the baby will come early its called fetal fibronectin ask your dr if you can take one they just take a cotton swab and collect a sample from the cervix
this is my 2 time on here! like i sayed i had my iud removed 7/9/2009 two days later i had a period. now i am 4 days late. i have took test and there are negative but i fell sick and have bad headacks too. my boobs are sore and my clothes are getting to small. is this normal?
Hey guys! It is me again with an update. I found out about two weeks ago that I was pregnant. I am now eight weeks post mirena. I had some heavy bleeding on Sunday and went in to the hospital. They did an ultrasound and I found out that I actually concieved the day the my iud came out and that I was 7 weeks and 5 days along. How weird is that? Well the ultrasound showed some bad news and my baby did not have a heart beat and was dead. They kept me over night and scheduled a d & c for the next day. After a full night of crying and no sleep I started thinking that maybe they were wrong. By my calculations I would have only been almost 5 weeks and shouldnt have a heart beat yet. Well as soon as I told the doctor that I wanted to wait a few days the bleeding came back full force this time. I knew in my heart that something was wrong. I went ahead and had the d & c later that evening. Well to make matters worse when the doctor went in they found out that I was pregnant with twins. However, the other baby was stuck in my tube and was about to burst. The reason I had been having so much pain. They tried to repair my tube but were unable to. So after surgery I get to find out that I lost two babys along with my left fallopian tube. We were so excited to be pregnant with the this baby and now we will have problems getting pregnant with only one tube. I am not allowed to try again for 3 months but believe me I will be trying again. I hope that no one has to go through what I went through. Good luck to everyone! You will all be in my prayers. Holly
Haha...that's funy...my youngest son is doin da same thing. Always asking me to get another baby....yeah only if they knew????? If u want go ahead n take da test...i no it's disapointing to get a negative, but b positive n have patients, It will happen! My cycle is wacked out too. I didn't get my period last month n m waiting to c if I get it this month. My last period was on June 16...n my removal was on May 12. Wish u all da luk!!!
Hi....I'm so sory to hear about wut happend....that's so sad:-(
That must of been so hard to go through n especiallly finding out it was twins!!! But hav patients u will concieve again. It might take longer but it will happen. I will pray 4 u. Wish u all da best n gud luk ok! Take care!
Yeah, I know 2 women that have had their iud removed and conceived twins, something to do with it releasing many eggs at once right after removal. They also told me that they took espom salt baths to relax there bodies 2-3 times a week and folic aid that in the end there dr.s told them that probably had something to do with them conceiving twins. (But who knows) Well for me my body is just not altogether with me I went to Dr. today for an ear infection and more weight gain. I'm soooo upset because it feels that my body is more out of control than before, I didn't gain weight with the iud partly because I think is that I was always on my period, well at least it felt like that. My periods were every 19-21 days so about 2 times a month for about 7-8 days long somewhat light. but I couldn't really lose weight either I would go on extreme excerising and dieting but only lost about 10lbs where I should have lost 20lbs. But now I'm only gaining.
Wow, it sure felt good to vent.
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I know your husband greiving as well so please tell him that we are thinking of him too right now.
Please stay positive because this tragedy is not a cause to lose hope.
My ex-mother-in-law lost a tube & ovary when she was 16 due to an injury. She got married at 22 and took bc pills for 13 years before she & her husband decided to have a baby. It took her ONE cycle off bc to get pregnant...twice. She now has two grown children & 4 beautiful grandkids.
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I can't even imagine how you are feeling. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers! I know that with time and healing you will be able to concieve again! Take care!
Today my period was supposed to come?? But instead a BFP!!!!!! The weird thing is i took one of thosse OPK every day an ovulation was never even detected????
I lost alot of weight after i had my baby i would suggest getting into some dance classes at a gym. If you have ymca where you live they have water aerobics and dance its really fun to me you have fun and it doesnt even feel like your working out. Dancing burns alot of calories just eat normally just cut out sodas and sugars like candy and brownies etc. Dont eat portions any bigger then your fist. If you eat alot of antioxidants it will tighten your skin make it look younger. Vegetables high in antioxidants are kale, spinach, Brussels sprouts, broccoli florets, beets, onions, corn. Certain fruits and almost all berries also contain antioxidants; top performers are prunes, raisins, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, raspberries, plums, oranges, apples, red grapes and cherries. Antioxidants also increase sperm mobility.
I got my mirena removed June 16th..no bleeding 3 days after some spotting then stopped...Did not have a period until July 8th, 28 days later August 2nd or 3rd? No period August 11th take a pregnancy test Positive,,,went to doctors she said i am pregnant.. Now i am just scared reading on here that when someone gets pregnant that fast they end up losing the baby...Gosh id be so sad...plus family and friends know already
just take it easy and stay positive you just may be one of the lucky ones when it comes to pregnancy i usually dont tell anyone tell i would get out of the first trimester make sure you are taking your prenatal vitamins
Hello ladies I am new to this site, after reading all of your posts I decided that I wanted to join and share my journey along with all of you. I got my IUD removed July 2, 2009 (I actually got it taken out while I was on my period which started July 1, 2009, my doc wouldn't let me take it out until I was on it) I bleed until July 10, 2009. I then got my period on August 10, 2009 and I am still currently on it, just waiting until I'm off so I can start ovulation tests to detect when I ovulate since I have no idea when that is. While I was on mirena I did get my periods it was like I was spotting so I hope and pray that I will return to normal very very fast, as my husband and I are very anxious to have another baby for our son who is 2 years old!
~* Congrats to all of you that have BFP*~
~*Baby dust to all that are trying*~
I am SOOOOOO sorry to hear about your losses. Trying hard to gain a child and then loosing two in the same day plus a vital part to gain another is very tough. Bless you and your family that you already have. Good luck on healing and TTC later on. Maybe a christmas present is in order for you then? Take care and keep us updated on you healing.
Twins after iud removal are possible- I didnt believe it as much before, but wow. Sorry Landon & Haileigh's Mommy!!
Thank you all very much for your concern. It is so nice to get on here and read that other people that I have never met care about what is going on. Yall have been so great with helping me cope with finding out I was pregnant and now this. Trying to rest and no overwhelm myself too much right now. I will keep you updated on my progess. Holly
Just wanted you to know that although one tube is gone it might not affect your chance TC much. My sister had the same thing that happened to her with her first child. They removed the tube and the baby. After that she had 3 more children with very little "trying" each time.
Ok, I'm a little scared right now. Has anyone conceived quickly after removal and is o.k? I heard the uterus lining is too thin to support a baby for awhile.
Thinking of you this morning after reading your post. I am sorry for the loss of your twins. May those two spirits come back to you soon.
One of my sisters lost triplets last year. She is now expecting one. It took her a year to want to try again. She had a similar way of finding out too. They went in excited to hear one heartbeat and found out that there were 3 and none had heartbeats.
Found out two of my buddies are pregnant. I couldn't help but hate them for a minute. I'm hoping we can conceive this month. I would love to be pregnant with my girl's.
I am so sorry for your losses. Just remember that God has a special plan for you and a place in heaven for them.
To: All
Well, I am suppose to start my period on the 18th, so I took a first response EPT and it was negative. I guess I will just wait until I miss it to test again if I do. I was really hoping it would be faintly positive. Has anyone else tested the 5 days before your missed period and got a negative and then later after actual day got a positive?
I tested negative at the OB's office on about 1-9-2006. I hadn't had a period since November of 2005 & have never been regular so the test was precautionary before I started fertility treatments. I started taking Progesterone that day to kick start my period, but AF didn't come right away like she had in the past when I'd taken Progesterone. So, I took an EPT test on or about 7/13 and it was BFP!! Apparently, I conceived on or about 1/1 of 2006 with my son & he either wasn't implanted yet or my hormone levels weren't high enough when I went to the OB's office on the 9th.
So, if I had had a normal 28 day cycle, I should have been on approx day 23 when I tested negative & approx on day 27 when I tested positive.
DAMN IM STARTING TO THINK THE IUD WAS A BAD IDEA I HAVE LIKE 4 MONTHS SINCE I TOOK IT OUT AND STILLL NO POSTITVE PLUS IM READIN ALLL THESE SAD STORY ABOUT FIRST GETTING PREGNANT THEN LOSSING IT OH NOOO I DONT KNOW WHAT I WOULD DO SOOO WHO EVER BEEN THREW THIS IM SOOO VERY SORRY AND MY PRAYERS ARE WITH U IM NEVER GOING TO USE ANY KID OF BIRTH CONTROL IN MY LIFE SO GOD U CAN SEND ME AS MANY KIDS U CAN AT THE END IF UR MENT TO HAVE HELLA KIDS ITLL HAPPEN NO MATTER WHAT AND IF UR MENT TO HAVE ONLY 2 OR 3 THEN THATS WHAT IT IS I JUST THINK THE IUD WAS A BIG MISTAKE WHAT U DO GUYS THINK HOW DO U GUYS FEEL ABOUT THIS
Now knowing what I do about the iud and my first and only pregnancy, yea- I definantly think me getting the iud was stupid. The removal is kind of taunting me too.
I was diagnosed with PCOS in like 2002 I think, prior to that I was never regular and the dds tried me on so many types of BC and progestrin, testosterone, etc to try and get some what of a normal cycle or minimum 3 a year. NOTHING.. I got pregnant mearly from working out 3x a week for 6months and loosing 40 pounds. I only gained like 30 back during my pregnancy and considering I was tecnically over my weight already, I was perfect with the weight I gain.
Now I am the same weight I was before working out and my pregnancy. I am post removal 4 weeks today and no period or BFP either. I tested last friday just to see- but I am a little too scared to test again, its too soon and I keep talking my self out of it so it isnt so disappointing.
I feel incredibly horrible about the stories I have read about post removers getting pregnant right away and then loosing the baby or babies. Now I am wondering if I wasnt just too selfish at the time considering taking it out. Either that or I should have taken it out way sooner and let my body relax.
5 days late i started my period, thank god now i can try again, i just dont no what date i will be ovultion becasue i was late
what do u guys think, i wish i was pregant maybe next month, i was so stressed out, i think thats y my peirod was so mess up,
now that i started i can move on, i think im going to take a month off and not test just have fun, im going to try to lose a few pounds this month im a little over weght and with my bad back the DR said i should take off 10 pounds before i put anymore on and that it mite help me get pregant
i no i have a little belly but i dont think im that fat but the dr said i could lose about 40 pounds i dont no what to think? i would love to lose 40 pound but i dont no where im going to get the fat from im a big girl but it not all fat i dont no if i should get a new dr.

Hi....well for da past week or so I've been feeling pressure around my pelvic area. It feels like I hav to go pee all da time but I don't. I'm just wondering hav any of u ladies felt this way??? I'm going to take a HPT wen I get up n will update u all. Gud luk to u all!!!
I too, am new here. Went searching online for some info regarding how I'm feeling and found this "blog". Hope you don't mind the addition :)
I've been reading, and reading, and found you two ladies, Rdy4Bby3 and tx_bell, have been going through things very similar to what I have been dealing with, and wanted some imput, if you don't mind the imposition?
Last July, I started the 'depo' shot of birth control, (with the hormone similar to that in
Mirena) following the removal of a copper IUD.
Within a few months of being on the depo, the side affects were grueling for me. In February this year, I decided to have the Mirena IUD inserted at my GYN's recommendation.
In April at my follow-up to check the IUD, I was diagnosed with LGSIL, and my doctor didn't really seem to worried about it, told me to come back in 6 months and we'll do another pap and get the results. I of course immediately went online and researched this, and found information that kind of freaked me out, considering if it gets worse, it could turn into something more serious.
A short while after having the IUD inserted, I started getting side affects from it such as acne, migraine headaches, weight gain, etc (as you may have experienced such side affects as well). The migraines were the worst part of it, as I missed 4 weeks of school in total, and daily functions were getting exhausting.
So finally in July, I had decided that enough was enough, couldn't feel that way anymore. I made an apppointment with my GYN to have it removed asap, and the soonest appt was Aug. 14, just on Friday. It is now Sunday, day two of being Mirena free, and I've started bleeding - just wondering if it could be the return of my period ALREADY?! I've been period free for over a year, and I suppose it would be about now that I have mine..
Also, while at my appt, my GYN and I discussed options, and decided that we are going to have the lesions lasered to remove them.
I seen that you (Rdy4Bby3) had mentioned that with the procedure you had, they removed (?) some of your cervix?? I guess I'm just wondering if it would be the same with the lasering??
And, tx_bell, I'm just a little worried about how your OB said you may not carry to term with your next pregnancy, as your cervix is damaged(?) from the laser removal method?
These things are just a little concerning, as my fiance and I have been talking about conceiving, as I also have hypothyroid disorder, and this attributes to the difficulty in conceiving.
Fortunately, I have been blessed with a daughter (she's 4) from my previous relationship, but although it was only a short time ago, my health has changed drastically, and I guess I just feel a lot is working against me at the moment :(
BABY_3
YES I WAS FELLING THE SAME WAY AND WAS FEELING NASHES ETC THAT Y I WAS THINK I WAS PREGANT
airforce_wife,
I AM HAPPY BECAUSE MY DR SAID AFTER 3 MONTH EVERYTHING SHOULD BE ALLL GOOD TO HAVE A BABY, SO I HOPE THIS IS THE MONTH BUT BECAUSE MY PERIOD WAS LATE I DONT NO WHEN IM GOING TO OVULATION WHAT DO U THINK
IM PERIOD IS ALLWAY 28 DAY THIS MONTH IT WAS 33 I THINK IT WAS BECAUSE I WAS STRESS DO I OVULATION THE SAME BEFORE I MISS A PERIOD OR DOSE IT CHANGE BECAUSE IM LATE
Hello, I just read your message and I googled Laser vs. LEEP and clicked on the frist link that caame up and copied and pasted the following paragraph for you:
LEEP vs Laser. LEEP is technically easier and involves less expensive equipment. 5 Both LEEP and laser conization produce a histologic specimen for analysis and cause minimal tissue damage. 21 Standard laser therapy destroys the tissue. Both procedures produce similar cure rates for all grades of CIN. 22 Although there is no difference in discomfort induced by LEEP and laser, LEEP takes significantly less time to perform. 23 There is also evidence that recurrence of CIN after LEEP may be less than with laser therapy. 10 The modality used is often a matter of personal preference.
--So, I'm assuming that LEEP is slightly different than lasering: bc the chances of reoccurence are lesser than with lasering. I also found this in another website:
Laser, cryotherapy, and excision procedures like LEEP or cone biopsy are all effective methods for treating cervical dysplasia. However, they have different advantages and disadvantages. Cryotherapy is easy to perform, and can be done in the office setting. However, as you mentioned, patients tend to have a profuse discharge, which may be bothersome. Laser therapy requires a short day surgery procedure in the operating room, and usually involves anesthesia. The disadvantage to these two procedures is that they work by destroying the abnormal tissue--there is no biopsy specimen, which can be examined. LEEP and cone biopsies produce a tissue specimen, which can be examined, to ensure there is nothing more serious present that we missed at the time of colposcopy. LEEP may be done in the office, while cone biopsies need to be done as a day surgery procedure. In certain circumstances, a cone should be done instead of a LEEP (when the endocervical curettage shows abnormal cells, when cancer is suspected, etc.) All procedures have a small risk of causing difficulty conceiving, and LEEP and cone biopsies may have a very small risk of causing difficulty with premature cervical dilation. However, these risks are small, and many women go on to have normal pregnancies. It has been our practice to use laser or LEEP for low grade lesions, and to use LEEP or cone biopsy for higher grade lesions (like CIN II-III) because of the ability to obtain a tissue specimen.
--Take what you need from that paragraph. I'm assuming that they're basically the same procedure.. And yes, I was told about 10% of my cervix was removed. However, they say we have just a small chance of difficulty conceiving..or a possibility of miscarriage? Talk to your doctor :} I don't want to mislead anyone; I can only speak from my personal experience. GL TTC!!!!
i think you would ovulate 28 days but it could change because you were late this month if i was you the day you have always ovulated i would have sex alot that week or you can just take the ovulation test strips its up to you
Hello ladies it is me again. I am still on my period and I started it on Aug. 11, 09. It's starting to slow down (thank god). Just a quick question for all of you out there.... How long was your first period after removal?
I got my first period 3 weeks after removal and it only lasted about 2 days and it was very light. So Im wondering if it really was my period but I think it was because I had cramps and every thing!
Thanks so much for your response. It's driving me crazy wondering when it will STOP lol. I use to get really bad and long periods before I ever got pregnant so I was figuring that it would be like this, I just want it to stop SOON!
Hi ladies....just wanted to update u all that da pregnancy test I took on Sunday was negative:-( Just don't understand wuts goin on??? I hav been havin cramps n all da other pms symptoms for da past couple of months but still no period!
I had my first period 26 days after removal. It lasted 4ish days. The first 2 It was majorly heavy and then tapered off. I had significant PMS too. Good times.
Hi all! I have a question......so has anyone had had 3-4 days of brown blood. Very light though like only when you use the restroom? That started on what would be day 30. It wasn't a lot at all so I thought it was implentation bleeding. THen this a.m. (day 34) it started to be more red in color. The issue I'm having though is what day do I count as day 1? The day the brown color showed up or today? UUUGGG! Mirena really screwd with my cycle. Had it removed May 20th and it still has not regulated! It's really getting on my nerves!
I know there is such a low chance but I'm still hoping i'm preggo!
EmsMom07,
I had mine out May 20th starting bleeding about 2 days later. Only lasted a couple days then June 13th bled for 8 days. Then another period July 15th lasted 8 days. And above is what is going on now. Hope this helps!
i got my mirena removed july 27th my af on july 29-aug 2 then had af again aug 10-aug13th mine were very heavy i felt then same way i wanted them to stop hopefully mine will be somewhat regular now we will see if it comes again before september
Just FYI my period is due in about a week, and even though my hubby and I said we were going to ttc and not worry about dates and stuff, and that we were going to wait to test until missed period.....but I couldn't wait and today I took a test (I felt so evil going behind my hubby's back..LOL) BUT it was neg:( I'm so sad:( :( Question since I tested about 1 week early could it be possible to get a positive/that I am prego in one week??
I am hoping this was the lucky month for my husband and I, but only time will tell.
I guess research it? I know my friend would be excited to have 2 at a time since her kids are 8 and 1... something is working against them to have kids close together.
Twins are just too expensive and all the problems that come with a twins pregnancy.... but since i already have twins by midwife told me that my chances are even higher to have another set. I had a single in the middle so hopefully that will break the cycle. :)
And good thing you went to a different hospital, that first you went to sounds like a nightmare.
Congrats... keep us posted!
Which to me is perfect! :)
I am the oppisite of you. I lost around 5 lbs since the removal.
Does any one else feel the same way?
Best of luck to you and all the women trying....
Heather
Yes, that's what i thought too because the pain started right when i started ovulating..... but they haven't gone away and it's been about 3 weeks. :) I will take a pregnancy test next week on Thursday... let;s see what happens but just in case i am not getting my hopes high, it's been only 1 1/2 months since my IUD removal and i know it can take a while. :)
Heather
CONGRATS again eveyone!
i think im just being a little hopeful / impatient hahaha
patience has never been my virtue lol
I'm looking forward to TTC this month.
Congrats to all positives and continued good luck to the rest of you all!!!
A LOT OF WOMAN IN MY FAMILY HAVE HAD LOW HGD SO THE HOME TEST DONT WORK WILL IM GOING TO TRY ONE JUST FOR FUN
I HOPE MY PEROD DONT START I HOPE IM PREGANT
Over the moon!
Just one question: Do you have to get a period after removal before you can become pregnant?
Anywho, I have never even thought of Ovulation predictors/tests..to it seems like a confusing watse of time and money. I picked one up at the store and was reading the instructions on the back of the box and it sounded soo confusing..and since my periods are not regualted anyways, it would be pointless for me. To each their own, I guess :)
So, yes, I have been post-IUD now for 12 days now..and I've been preparing my body for a oregnancy, so hopefully we will get blessed within a matter of time. However, since my boyfriend and I do not live together as of yet (we plan to marry next August), it is hard to "practice" on a reg basis :) It's a plus and a negative in my book, but in all due time! :) We bought a baby name book today at the mall and I cannot wait to cuddle together and devour all the beautiful baby names to our pleasure..... :}
and BFP is Big Fat Positive....
Maybe i just havent noticed the ovulation? Or is my next cycle just gona be REALLY long?? I just thought that since my first cycle was 28 days my secon woul be as well?? I've never had a problem getting pregant and know i feel like i ont even know my own body....any of you have the same issue??
You're not going to have perfect cycles for up to 3 months. Some don't even get their first period for 3 months. It depends on how quickly your body decides to bounce back. A few of us get lucky, and the rest of us get to wait. It took me like 45 days post removal to have a period, and it was the heaviest period of my life. I doubt my next cycle will be regular. This is where ovulation kits come it, because you're still gonna ovulate at some point during that cycle
pl god i want this so bad
To airforce_wife:
I got my Mirena removed on July 27th also! lol. I know both of our circumstances are very different, but I just thought that was cool :) I wish I could explain the heaviness......is it your mind playing a trick on you?
But it'll still be an option. Thanks!
Off to the doctor tomorrow....
All,
Can those who are pregnant post how many weeks it was from removal till a BFP? I am just curious what the ranges are. My hubby got me excited to take a test this weekend and it was a BFN, so I am not so excited about that- he is to keep practicing.
I almost wonder if I am going to have to go on a work out binge again and loos lots of weight to get pregers again. Any thoughts? I dont know if I have ovulated, I think I have.. but not quite sure. The DH and I just keep trying ever 3-4 days to ensure there is always sperm to hit that window since they have the ability to live up to 5 days.
I'm kinda wondering if I will have a period be4 I conceive. I hope mine is a miracle story w/out a period as well! lol. Tmrw I will be 2 weeks exactly post-mirena. Getting pretty close to "the range"!
Don't worry...it's not a church! ha.
I am hopeful and excited.
I documented every day since the removal on the 27th, and I bled the 28th (after intercourse) and until the 30th...and then like a brownish discharge followed that (I believe it was the bleeding tapering off) for 2 or 3 days after that. So could that be considered AF? Heck if I know! I would hope so....I read another post that someone posted about having brown discharge, too..after bleeding after removal..but hmm...I really wonder. Sorry if that's TMI, but were all women in the same boat here and I don't think any of us should be embarassed about talking about our body functions, lol, bc were all after one thing on this site! LOL :}
Since u and I are 2 weeks post-removal exactly today, I would still give it a couple weeks to see if we get another AF? If it comes sooner than expected, than it has to be a true AF. Ya think?
Here are some questions that may help us help you:
*What was the date of your removal?
*Do you have any biological children or have you ever been pregnant in the past?
*Are your cycles normal (aka 28 days in length)?
*Are you using any method of ovulation detection?
*How often are you & your partner ttc?
*Are you considering fertility treatments of any kind?
I have my fingers crossed for you since your appointment is tommorow. Please let us know what the Dr. says. :-)
Also, how do I tell when is the best time to conceive?
as far as when is the best time is when you ovulate. which every woman is different on that, you can chart with your temp, cervical mucus, and cervical position to tell when you are ovulating. your CM should be ewcm.
I know its hard to do but you have to try and not stress yourself out. That can make it hard to conceive.
Best of luck to all! :)
HAS THIS HAPPEN TO ANYONE ....after 3 month to have ur period missed up
I also looked at Ovulation tests @ Walmart yesterday and I almost fainted...$26-$28 bucks for a box?
GL to all! Now it's just a waiting game.
i am 4 weeks past removal and we are too ttc
Conceiving varies. Some people conceive rt away with no period, others take a cycle or two.. just depends on your body.
good luck to you and your hubby!
I hope u have a positive test....gud luk ok!!!
Anyways, sorry I typed up a novel. lol. Has anyone else had abnormal paps, or a similar situation to mine?
baby-3
that not going to make thing hard for u to have a baby right and i no it hard to test and it say no u no but i would try maybe it will be a good thing it mite me a yes
Really cool story....my best friend called me yesterday and I had just had a dream that she was pregnant....turns out that was the reason why she was calling me!! She had just got her positive the night before!! So hopefully her luck will bring luck to all of us!! Take care!
Yes airforce_mom it's very scary..I'm just glad I am fortunate enough to get medical care whereas many others don't :{
Good luck mandyjune!! hope its a BFP.
Thanks for the luck wantbaby3!! Maybe that was a sign for you!
I wonder how much of my cervix is left after having had that done at least twice & the cryo freezing treatment once...
Keep us posted..
Best of luck
Keep us posted
I really hope u get a BFP soon!!! Wish u da best of luk!!! Keep me posted!
Take care!
That must of been so hard to go through n especiallly finding out it was twins!!! But hav patients u will concieve again. It might take longer but it will happen. I will pray 4 u. Wish u all da best n gud luk ok! Take care!
Wow, it sure felt good to vent.
Today my period was supposed to come?? But instead a BFP!!!!!! The weird thing is i took one of thosse OPK every day an ovulation was never even detected????
KEEP US POSTED ON YOU PREGNANCY!!!
~* Congrats to all of you that have BFP*~
~*Baby dust to all that are trying*~
Twins after iud removal are possible- I didnt believe it as much before, but wow. Sorry Landon & Haileigh's Mommy!!
One of my sisters lost triplets last year. She is now expecting one. It took her a year to want to try again. She had a similar way of finding out too. They went in excited to hear one heartbeat and found out that there were 3 and none had heartbeats.
Sending you healing thoughts.
So, if I had had a normal 28 day cycle, I should have been on approx day 23 when I tested negative & approx on day 27 when I tested positive.
Either that or I should have taken it out way sooner and let my body relax.
what do u guys think, i wish i was pregant maybe next month, i was so stressed out, i think thats y my peirod was so mess up,
now that i started i can move on, i think im going to take a month off and not test just have fun, im going to try to lose a few pounds this month im a little over weght and with my bad back the DR said i should take off 10 pounds before i put anymore on and that it mite help me get pregant

and for all of u out there going to have a baby soon what did u guys do difftern you guys have any tips
Fortunately, I have been blessed with a daughter (she's 4) from my previous relationship, but although it was only a short time ago, my health has changed drastically, and I guess I just feel a lot is working against me at the moment :(
YES I WAS FELLING THE SAME WAY AND WAS FEELING NASHES ETC THAT Y I WAS THINK I WAS PREGANT
airforce_wife,
I AM HAPPY BECAUSE MY DR SAID AFTER 3 MONTH EVERYTHING SHOULD BE ALLL GOOD TO HAVE A BABY, SO I HOPE THIS IS THE MONTH BUT BECAUSE MY PERIOD WAS LATE I DONT NO WHEN IM GOING TO OVULATION WHAT DO U THINK
GL TTC!!!!
I was just curious about the different procedures, as my GYN just stated that we were going to use laser removal, never mentioning the others..
Thanks again for your help and advice!
It's fertility week here. Baby Baby Baby....no whammies.
