How long did it take you to conceive after Mirena IUD removal?

Has anyone had the Mirena IUD and had it removed to ttc. I am just curious how long it took you to conceive after Mirena IUD removal?  How long until your menstrual cylces were regular? I got my IUD out on Aug 5th and am ttc. I have had lots of spotting and maybe a period but nothing regular.  I called my doc and they said that it takes 3 months before the hormones are out of your system. The mirena website makes it sound as though you can get pregnant anytime after removal.  Any advice/stories would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Aw! So happy to hear your little jumping bean is doing good! This little baby was like that too, very active, it was hard to get her heart beat!!!
Silly babies!!!  SO glad all is going okay! Hope you posted a pic! Hope your scan goes well Friday! Praying baby is perfect and healthy!

well, it was an eventful four hours at the OB today..  Had to do blood work, medical history, etc.  then the doc couldn't find the heartbeat using the doppler.  It was scary because I told her the last time a doc tried to hear my baby's heartbeat with a doppler was when we found we lost him.  So after a few mins of searching with the doppler she said she is just going to do a sono real quick to ease everyone's fears.  (she also knew that last time when the baby was deceased they also grabbed a sono when they didn't find it with a doppler, so she was super nervous too)  So anyway, she gets the sono and she still couldn't get a heartbeat, but only because the baby was jumping all over the place and wouldn't be still long enough.  That was such a relief!  So then after about 20 mins the baby was still long enough to hear the heartbeat of 171 beats per minute.  So, I got another photo of the baby..  It is HUGE!  LOL..  not really, measuring exactly where it should.  So anyway, so far so good.  Nuchal scan on friday.

I am loving feeling baby wiggles and hiccups and more strong kicks lately. It sure is an amazing and wonderful feeling! I worry about baby still, hear sad stories and it makes you a little nervous! I wish I wasn't! I think it is nice to an at home doppler, so if I do worry, I can always just check up on her!!
Starting to gather what we need for baby girl, I have most things, from Lilah, but still need a few things, and I even got rid of a couple of things that I really wish I hadn't!!!!!
It is the fun part of being pregnant, preparing stuff for baby!!! I love it!
