Hysterectomy after 5 weeks

by Lynne6364, May 12, 2007 12:00AM
I had my hysterectomy 5 weeks ago. I had 4 large fibroids, one weighed 5 lbs. My uterus, cervix, and one ovarie was removed. I have done great, no problems. I wake up Thursday morning and my right side feels like exploding, by the end of the day, I am doubled over. My right ovarie is the one that was saved. Friday morning I call Dr.(of course she has gone on vacation) the nurse tells me lay still till Monday.
Before, at this time is when I should have started. Could this be the reason for this pain? When I walk it is like stabbing pains above my pelvic bone. Thanks, Any suggestions would be helpful.
