Hot water usually works. I get them every once in a while. I find when I'm in the shower and I let hot water run on it. It tends to go down quickly
Sorry the previous message should have read:
If it does NOT shrink in size and you say it "feels big again", make an appointment to see our doctor.

It feels big again but I don't know if that's it coming to the surface? thank you for your help x
You don't need another course of antibiotics. You need to wait until you have finished the whole course that you have.
If it flares up and feels painful, you will need to see the doctor again. Sometimes a little bump is left. As long as it doesn't hurt or gets worse, you will be fine.
It's still not completely away and I have only one more tablet left, do I make an appointment when the doctor to get more?
Once the tablets kill off the bacteria, the cyst should disappear, but may leave a little node where it was.
Sometimes it can fester though just like an acne type boil and when this happens the doctor or nurse may need to help get the rubbish out.
See how things go.
That's great that you went to see your doctor and have the appropriate treatment.
Do bear in mind that these things can happen again, so you will know what to do,
To help bring out the cyst to the surface, I have read to apply the back part of a heated spoon to the cyst, as hot as you can tolerate. Personally, I have never done this, so do not know if this works or not.
Hope you start feeling better soon.
Best wishes.
Thank you, yes it was a cyst got tablets for it x
I seen my doctor yesterday and it's a cyst from the hair follicle, thank youu
I just had Bartholin cyst removed it is not something to not go to the doctor. I have mine lanced 6 times before I finally have surgery. So no matter what might think it is see your doctor.
Go to your Dr asap. That's the only way you can be sure what it is.
It is likely to be a Bartholin Cyst, or an infected hair follicle.
Make an appointment to see your doctor.
