I have a 13 week old baby could i be pregnant again

Hi i was wondering is it possible to be pregnant while breastfeeding my 13 wk old baby.i was on the pill for a couple of weeks around my 6 week check up but it made me bleed all the time so i went off them and have been having unprotected sex ever since. i think i also had a period befor i started the pill my baby was only feeding 5 to 6 times a day as i had a good supply there i thought they wernt supposed to return for months while breast feeding anyone else in this situation. also ive had thoughts about being pregnant again because for over the last week ive had lower abdomen cramps right in the middle like im starting my period but theres nothing the cramps arnt sever or anything im breastfeeding and my boobs have gotten really sore even around my nipples like stinging i took a pregnancy test a couple of days ago but negative is it possible to have these symtoms in the first week or two of pregnancy i cant remember from last pregnancy as i was 12 weeks befor i found out als o been very tired been getting lots of headaches and yes im drinking plenty husband also says im moody any info would be greatly appreciated thax

I knew because I had my period. I can feel it when I ovulate though. So, even if I did not get my period I could have gotten pregnant before it came.

You can ovulate and thus get pregnant while nursing. I was nursing 6-8 times day with my second child and I started ovulating after 7 weeks. If you don't want another baby now then I would use protection until you know for sure.

The most fertile time to get pregnant is right after giving birth. Take another test to be sure, sometimes the first is wrong- I know!!!

hi nina thanx for your advice i took a test 3 days ago and it was negative was your cousin breastfeeding. was her baby that young when she conceived did she have any of the same symptoms i talked about thanx amanda

Yes, you could be.  The same thing happened to my cousin.  She got pregnant right away after having her 2nd.
