I have a strange, discolored lump on my labia, and I do not know what is.

So I am writing because I am worried about a strange abnormality I found. Yesterday I felt a slight pain and when I checked myself I saw a lump. It is a pea sized, slightly yellow tinted, lump. It is located above and to the left of my clitoris. It is minorly painful but I am very worried. I know that I should see a doctor but I do not want to ask my mom to take me. Through searching google, (I know google does not have all the answers), I believe it is a cyst but I am not sure what to do about it, or if it will heal on its own. Any ideas on what it might be.
