I have a weird smell coming from my vagina ( I know it’s gross)

I noticed the change a couple of days ago. It started to smell like vinegar and the discharge is thick and white. I’m only a teenager and I’m still a virgin. Should I talk to a doctor about it? Could it be something serious?

So, does it itch?  Thick, white discharge that itches is often a yeast over growth problem that is common, not related to having sex and very easy to treat with over the counter products.  If it smells really BAD, foul smelling, that's a sign of a bacterial issue like bacterial vaginosis but discharge with that is usually thin, watery and greyish color. You can get that all on your own (no sex) or you can pass it back and forth during sex.  Treatment consists of antibiotics given by a doctor.  Otherwise, women have discharge of various consistencies and colors related to our hormones as they change over our cycle and regular discharge can be something we smell while not being foul or bacterial related.  Urine has an ammonia smell and vinegar sounds a bit like that.  Anyway, the best thing to do is to have a doctor swab the discharge and determine what's going on.  I know you probably don't feel like doing that but all women have this from time to time.  Tell your mom and she'll help you.  good luck
