I have not had a period in almost 3 MONTHS!!! HELP!!!

Ok I have been here before. I am 21 year old new mother (my daughter is 7 1/2 months old) everything went normal with pregnancy and delievery. But the thing is i was late on getting my first period after being pregnant (when i went for my 6 week check up i still never had a period) I ended up having one 2 weeks after the 6 week check up....(that was in Jan.) I had one in feb and March and April, Infact that was the last one (April 21st) I went to get a annual check up in June and they didnt know why i didnt have a period.... im not pregnant, and they they restarted the pill on me.... I just dont know y i wouldnt have a period sincce April and it is now July 6th! Whay could be wrong with me? They only explanation that the Dr. gave me was MAYBE it was because they put me on the pill and that induced a period (i was on the pill from Jan. till April, and wasnt on it in May) I just finished my new pills and i am due for another period like a couple days ago, but nothing!! What could it be? Has this happened to anyone or to anyone any of u know?? any advice would be grateful!! Thank you!!!

i havent can on my period in three months now fed 16,2010 was the last time i saw my period it is  may 15 now in march i took 2 test and it said im not pergnant .  what do i do now please help me

i hadnt have my period since november and now its feb of 08. im 19years old and have no children!! i havent had any intercourse and iknow im not pregant!plz let me know why my period hasnt came!

Hey.  The same thing is happened to me.  I had my child in Jan 04 and had regular pill periods until I went off the pill in October 05 to try to conceive.  I have only had 2 periods since then.  I had a regular period in nov 05 and not again until given Provera and finally had a period in March 06.  I had regular period at the end of April b/c always irregular when not on pill.  I have yet to have another one since then.  My doctor said it was probably just coming off the pill and prescribed provera.  Well 2 weeks ago took 10 pills and still did not get period.  I went ahead and started back on the pill (necon) Sunday so I guess we will see how that works out.  It is frustating b/c want another child.

It's the pill. The pill causes irregularity in every single chick i know, including my sister. My sister has the opposite though... she bleeds for weeks at a time. BE GLAD!

Yea but if you dont get periods but once a year, can you have another child? Does your mother have another child?

my mom s periods changed completley after she had me.  before she had me, she was lucky to have one per year, after they kinda came when they wanted too, but with more regularity.  the docs told her she just didnt ovulate when she was supposed to, no real reason why.  all women are different, your period may stay this way for a while, and there is probably nothing at all to worry about.  good luck
