I pee too much lol

Hi ladies,
I think I pee too often. Ive told my doc about this but since she has checked me numerous times to see if Ive had a uti or any vaginal infections -- never positive on UTI - I do get recurrent yeast infections everytime I get my period so I pretty much take a diflucan or the 7 day treatment. What doctor should I go to to figure out what is up? A urologist maybe?

Hi, I'm 22 and from reading what you've wrote, I think i have the same problem. When I pee, it feels like I have to go again about 5 mins later but I dont really. I've been checked for STD's and UTI but there was nothing. I also easily get yeast infections. Im wondering what you're urologist finally told you!
Thanks!

The doc prescribed me Detrol LA. It's def. hepled, though it does make my stomach a little upset, and I've been getting small headaches...though my doc did tell me that it may be because about a week ago, I was taking Provera for some missed periods...the discomfort should stop soon.
Good luck :)

I've seen those commercials for overactive bladders and they have medication that you can take for it.  Sounds like the correct diagnosis to me, but it's good you're going to see a specialist.

So nothing was given to you, no meds, nothing? What did the doc say to you other than no infection?

I am also very young (21), and I have the same problem...I feel like I have to pee every 30 to 45 minutes! Even if I don't drink anything! I'm constantly waking up in the middle of the night to use the restroom. It's become quite annoying...
I went to the doc, and he said that I have an overactive bladder. There were no signs of infection, so that was good!

Nothing to worry about...I'm sure things will go fine! :)

Could you be pregnant?  As on of the posters mentioned, one of
her symptoms for pregnancy was an increased need to to pee.
Just a thought.  Or you could be reaching the age where bladder
control is not as good as it used to be (like mine).  I'm 47.
How about you?  Or you could just have an overactive bladder.

I knew something was up when I was really sensitive to smells.  I could smell stuff a mile away and I had no idea that it was a sign of being pregnant.  I was only two weeks when I had that one.

Ok - sometimes it feels like my bladder isnt completely emptied and then there are others times where I just peed and it feels emptied by like 5 mins later I gotta go again and just a lil bit comes out. I try no to hold so long when I have to go but Ive noticed that if I do hold than I pee a lot in the days after that. I think Im just gonna make an appt with a urologist becuz this has been going on a while and its getting on my nerves already.

By any chance have you had a white/clear/foggy like discharge right after sex? I had it once a couple days ago. It had NO smell and My hubby had just used some KY Gel.

A urologist is your best choice...do you feel like you empty your bladder when you go, or do you always have trouble emptying?  That can be a sign of infection...but how did they test you?  Did they do a urine culture?
