I think i have a yeast infection but not to sure??

i have had an itchy vagina for 4days now and it has this discuting discharge that looks like cottage cheese :( im 99% sure i have a yeast infection but canot afford to go to the doctors as iv recently had a kindney infection which cost me enough. can i rid of it by useing the amoxcicillian left over from my kidney infection? or would cranberry tablets help or is the just for bladder infections?

only a healthcare proffesional can accurately diagnose a yeast infection. And antifungals are the only cure for them, not antibiotics. Which once again, is available thru a physician.  There are some OTC remedies available, but only if you are sure that what you are treating is a yeast infection, and not something like BV or an STD.  That being said, it is not uncommon to get a yeast infection after taking antibiotics, but again, only a healthcare professional can truly make that diagnosis for you.

I just had a yeast infection a couple of weeks ago. My doctor says that if you have those symptoms you can treat it at home. I would go to CVS and just use the monastat. They also have yeast infection tests. Both are only like $20
