I tore part of my labia

I'm 20, i'm not a virgin..my boyfriend of about a year and a half have had sex zillions of times without anything happening, no he was not my first. Any who About a week ago I felt a small stinging sensation after we had sex so i grabbed a mirror and checked things out down there and i noticed my left inner labia was swollen and was cut, or rather torn, almost like the top layer of skin was the only thing missing. I suppose i was curious is this normal? I mean it's not my first time, we do use lube...I can't seem to understand why it happened, i am going to make an appointment at an ob. i suppose i was looking for some form of reassurance.

thanks in advance

I can't really tell you why that happened only that it happened to me and it hurt like crazy but healed just fine :) just try to keep the area clean to avoid any infection hope that helps :)
